P2067 - just filled out the DELIVERY red button info on the website. No VIN yet. But have a delivery estimate of Dec 12 - Dec 26, factory pickup. Configuration below.

Excellent News! The numbers in Texas are growing!
I received my registration papers via FedEx today!! I think I'll drive my ICE vehicle to pick up my plates downtown tomorrow and write another hefty check. Tomorrow evening, I'll hit the road!!
I'm OK holding off for one more day -- my puppy was none too happy with the time I spent in the driveway and garage yesterday. In fact, he left me two different gifts(!) I'm hoping for better weather tomorrow, too. :biggrin:

The Dogs' Ramp-Up Revenge
I think the dogs know that Tesla is ramping up. They are furious about the detail to S-Bling, and lack of Fur detail. Mine ate a full bottle of Chili Powder last night, including most of the plastic bottle.
Hot Dog! I am afraid that next I'll find a half-eaten loan check.

I think it has to do with the Product Specialist handling it - and maybe delivery versus factory pickup? I emailed today to check in again since my last ping was a week ago. He called and said no VIN, but he said the car should be done this month so I could go ahead and fill out the stuff on the website. He said he "activated the delivery tool" on the website so I could get that going.

Wow, that VIN is way out of line with the reservation number. I'm P3223 and haven't heard a peep. P85 with 21's and carbon, so maybe that's why.

Yes, I can confirm ours (Houston) vin1309 (r123) confirmed for truck delivery tomorrow pm, and another lucky sole in Lufkin tomorrow AM.
Lynn, can you confirm registration occurs at county tax office and not DMV.

Well, at this rate, they will run out of P VINs prior to the Canadian Signature VIN starting at 02000. Hoping that is a sign for us up here. It is really hard knowing that all the CDN Sigs are just sitting in a parking lot waiting!

I'm 3 behind contaygious in the line, however, I'll have to endure the pain of waiting for cross-country shipment and home delivery so it will be a few weeks for me. Anybody going to the the factory within the next few days, please look for the Silver Streak. So far I think I have the only config with silver paint and silver 21"s (the Model S prototype's config BTW).
When I ordered the Pirelli snow tire/19" wheels, on Dec. 3, I got back the following note from Tesla:
Picked it up today! Fantastic car. Very happy with my config. Have not really driven/played with one actually... blown away by the software coolness, and I don't even have the update yet!
Factory tour was spectacular. We spent over an hour walking around and checking everything out. Love all the automation, all the insourcing, what an amazing piece of plant. Strolled right by Elon working at his desk on the factory floor but decided not to interrupt him!
Sadly not true.
Holding back on the throttle for the first 3 days after getting the vehicle was very frustrating. Similar threads
