My timeframe got reduced this morning, was 6/15-7/20 and is now 6/18-7/9. LI-NY, MSLR, blue/black, 21”, no FSR, ordered 1/17.

I realize we are only getting to the half way point in the year. While this sounds ready for a fortune-cookie, some of us with orders might have cars sooner and some later, even into calendar 2023.
It used to be easy to determine your Tesla's "year" based on manufacturing date. Some posts on this forum suggest Tesla caved and started to use an arbitrary date to determine a vehicle's "year" like other manufacturers.
With that said, does anyone know the arbtitary date when Tesla S's arrive as 2023? Is the VIN expected to change from "NF" to "OF" for vehicles manufactured after that date?
I know for a Tesla it's just a number, but...

My arbitrary guess would be similar to last year's timing. Late Nov to early December IIRC...

Today had the opportunity to try out my friend’s Plaid in drag strip mode and now I’m just more anxious to get my vin number res 1166

Today I just did a Turo search and found a local (LA) '22 plaid for rent at 225 a day.
At that price, I could rent for half a year to equal the price difference between Plaid and LR.
Greater than zero chance that rental will have the driveshaft vibrations, and can decide if I can live with it.

Another adjustment to my EDD this morning. Still no VIN. Feels like Q1 all over again.
EDD is now 6/15 - 7/6. Was 6/8 -7/13

Car is out of inspection, ready for pick up.
They are "Very light", so pulled forward my Tuesday delivery to today, pick up at 3:00PM.

Dang. Looks dirty too. Whenever we get ours I plan to bring it home and hand wash it right away. Best chance to spot imperfections in that first 100 miles to report.
