It wasn't meant to gloat. Just statement of facts. Others are in the same boat as me, and it appears that regional delivery is part of the equation. Stay strong.
I think it's a rev rec issue driving some deliveries here. Tesla is maybe thinking, "I want to book the revenue for Q2, but the customer has to take delivery for that to happen. What's the path I need to take to give me the most chance of booking Q2 revenue here?" It's speculation and I'm sure I'm oversimplifying it, and if you are waiting for your car to enter production, not comforting at all. I figure Tesla is thinking in my case, they can get it produced, on a truck, and to Denver and that's low risk to miss that particular Q2 booking (me paying for my car in Q2).

I believe all of us that ordered the refreshed for sure can upgrade. Don't know about those that ordered before announcement but were delivered refreshed.

Me too. My DS says production will not be until late June, though I confirmed 5/8. Congrats to all those who are seeing movement in the process. Don't forget the pictures!

That's odd because I'm also in TX and I'm 4 days before you and my DS keeps telling me I'll be in production by next week. Perhaps the schedule has changed?
That's wierd.. I confirmed on 05/11 and my car went in production yesterday. I am in FL..

Well, I'm halfway through my delivery window on my tesla
My loan expires on June 7
200 mile trip to pick up the car (I've got to arrange someone to drive me)
No updates from my ds
I'd sure love it if they gave me some definitive times so I can know whether to go ahead and do a new loan and to try to find a friend to drive me
I'm really looking forward to having the car but so far the process has been a really poor experience for buying a 100k$ automobile.
To date every estimate has been missed and it appears by the time I have the vehicle the estimates through the process will have been off in excess of 100%
I've heard all the great stories of delivery specialist keeping buyers informed every step of the way
My experience has been the opposite
I e gotten emails every time mytesla was updated basically informing me of what I had already read on the website and that information appears s to not be accurate
