Wiki Model S Delivery Update

Ordered 4/12
Confirmed 4/20
Initially told approx 6-8 weeks to delivery.
Pushed back to mid June since we were to be away end of May.
MyTesla status "Late May-Early June"
Entered production 5/24
No DS updates.
MyTesla status changed to "Late June-Early July."
Called DS for update last week and asked what my availability was for week of June 27 and set up temporary pick up date for 7/29.
Called to confirm yesterday and now told 10-12 more days.
Still listed as "In Production" on MyTesla and now "July-Early August" for delivery.
Very frustrating experience so far.
Been "In Production" over 1 month with no updates unless I call and those updates are obviously not accurate either.

If your DS calls a date I'd trust that a lot more than what MyTesla says. Appointment for tomorrow was (under conditions obviously) scheduled over a week ago and only yesterday did 'next week' show up in the webpage. I'd recon that my car is available tomorrow (as I just got a mail stating it was on final cleaning now so ready for tomorrow).

Especially over here end of quarter is high-season as all the cars roll in then to Tilburg, the Netherlands but they do try to make enough time to ensure your experience from what I hear and notice in pre-delivery. MyTesla has been somewhat of a joke from the start as we always aimed for end of june (due to our ICE schedule) and I had late-may/june showing as well.

hoping i get my MS by end of july-aug. got the vin this morning

same here. Who are you dealing with over there? can you send me your timeline

Confirmed to Pickup time?

It seems we have identical cars ( going based on your profile signature)
Eric Welty is my DS. I don't have a pickup time yet. Just went into production Saturday.
Placed order: 6/2, Confirmed:6/3, Changed order from 70 to 60: ~6/10, Went into production: 6/25

You can find everyone's timeline in the google docs spreadsheet in the second post of this thread.

I'm trying to change mine to a 60D, what date were you issued your VIN for your initial order and what happens when they change it? do you get a new VIN? does the mytesla page update the specs sheet?

Similar thing happened to me. I was told to ignore the My Tesla page. For what its worth. I agree, the process leaves much to be desired. Quite frankly I can't understand what is so difficult about creating a reliable My Tesla page during the process which gives a reasonable user interface and provides some feedback to the buyer without having to contact the DS. Their production process is quite impressive and it is a shame that it is not communicated and on display properly for the average buyer and investor to see. With how well they seem to be moving through the current orders if they managed some sort of UI to provide both in store and to buyers to clearly show the process and make it a fun part of the experience it would really take the company to another level.

Issued VIN on 6/3. Still have the same VIN. They most likely will not let you change your configuration after confirming. I seem to be the rare unicorn that slipped through the cracks. I have tried to assist a couple of other members here downgrade to no avail.

Got the much anticipated "Your Tesla is in Production" both via email and on MyTesla. After reading some of the posts on this page, I guess I shouldn't get too excited considering the accuracy or lack there of status updates.

Ordered on the 6th, confirmed and got the VIN on the 13th and shows in production today. I started with a 70D but changed to the 60D, fortunately for me the 60D announcement came between when I ordered and when I confirmed, therefore there was no issue with me changing.

what are the different status updates, is there a list in that it goes in order? for example, mine is "
Your Tesla has entered the factory production queue. The delivery process guide will provide additional information about what to expect along the way. If you have questions, please contact your delivery specialist."

what is next update?
