You weren't clear on the spoiler (which mine has) but the rest matches my configuration.

Proof that geography is involved, and perhaps other factors besides configuration. Otherwise I (S552) would have been called first, presumably.

Nonetheless, gratz on your progress towards an actual vehicle.

I have pretty much the same configuration (with a spoiler) and I have not received a call yet. S508. Factory pickup.
I did nag today and got an informal "mid to late October." so maybe there is a batch.

So that is curious. I always thought that my configuration (and yours) would be pretty popular and also geographically spread out. Because of that, I would have predicted that the deliveries for our configuration would be relatively close to being in numerical order. Where are you? It is also possible that the Delivery Specialist in your area is snoozin' or overloaded.

WA state.

They state 12 hours to charge on a 240V outlet. That must be the public 30A chargers then since 40A is around 9 hours.

That $9,100 number over 5 years should talk some people into an EV.

$9,100 in 5 years seems very low to me. It must be based on the 89MPG rating. Also, if they compared it to a car with similar performance specs (i.e. Audi S6, BMW M5) instead of the "average new vehicle", the offset would be different, indeed.

Notified this afternoon
SIG #442 Performance - Delivery 10/18/2012 - 11/01/2012 - VIN - TBD
To St Louis, Mo
Signature Red Paint
All Glass Panoramic Roof
21" Silver Wheels

That's great news. Can't wait till I get mine. Hopefully, I'll catch a glimps of you around town.

Maybe we can have aTesla gathering once a few more of us in the St.Louis area get ours.

They wouldn't let me near them! And all the guys there know me by now ...

They're very cautious, which I appreciate. I was allowed to look at one the other day only by promising no pictures, no touching, and no recitation of the VIN. I really wanted to see the perf black interior with the red piping as compared to the test drive cars, which have all that looseness to them. The car I saw looked really good! Also, had that yummy new car smell.

I've been wondering what it will smell like. American new car or German new car?

Congrates I'm having trouble sleeping for you Arnold.

I'm actually going to forego the HPWC for the time being and just install a NEMA 14-50 (or two). That should pay for most of my service the next few years! Very excited to get my dates. Hope I'm near the beginning of the timeframe.

I didn't know there was a difference! I've mostly had experience with German and Japanese new cars (mine and my friends), and I would say it was closer to German. Really reminded me of the smell of a new Beemer or MB -- not too pungent or overpowering, but a really pleasing aroma that smells classy (yes, I realize I sound insane, but I crossed that rubicon when I asked them to open the door so I could smell the car!).

Haha! Not insane at all, and I'm glad to hear that (the German luxury scent)
