Wiki Model S Delivery Update

Ordered my 75D on June 30th, confirmed ~7/3 and have been told verbally by my delivery specialist that my car is due to be completed production the week of August 13th. I had hoped to take delivery in Portland for registration in Idaho but my move is complicated so I will likely have to take delivery at Rocklin Ca where I partially reside. My page on Tesla only shows scheduled for production.

I don't understand their build process but it seems like the MS production has come to crawl. But it seems like a 2 month delivery for the East Coast and half of that for the West Coast. Your car is long overdue now to both of your homes . It's a worth while wait. Best of luck!

From reading many of the posts in this thread, I’ve gathered that the message shown in the Tesla account isn’t necessarily updated to reflect exactly what stage a car is in.

Just passing on my timeline that was scheduled for the end of July per the Tesla site.

My new MS75D Order Process
6/1 Order
6/5 Confirmed and waiting for production
7/14 In production
7/18 Built and in transit (to S FL)
8/3 At SC and prepping for delivery
8/7 Delivered!

Patience was needed but as you will soon see worth the wait!

I ordered on June 23rd and was told delivery in early August. My profile still says order confirmed and I live 3 miles away from the production plant! The wait times to call Tesla are over an hour I’m going to just walk over there and find out what’s going on lmao !

I ordered 6/28 and was told by my DS that production would be this week. I haven’t seen anything in my account yet. Originally, I was hoping to have the car for a road trip in 2 weeks. I’m starting to doubt these August delivery estimates.

I ordered 75D on 6/12, confirmed 6/15. Account status page switched to "in production" around 7/18 to "in transit" on 7/21. Car reportedly came by train to Alabama and arrived at the Nashville service center on 8/3 to prep for delivery. I received delivery on 8/6. A little over 7 weeks total.

My advisors were very helpful during the process. Any time I had a question - they generally replied within a few hours. Although I thought delivery wasn't going to happen as they realized during the signing process that they had the wrong county for my zip (as some zip codes cross into another county). Paperwork had to go back to contract center and waited about 2 hours. During the wait, they apologized and were nice about it and said they will work something out if the paperwork didn't come back that day.

Paperwork did finally show up and I drove the new 75D home with a big smile on my face later that evening. :)

I placed my order 6/30. Site still says, 'Your Tesla order has been confirmed and scheduled for production in our factory.'. I have been assigned my THIRD delivery specialist, two of whom have never responded to emails. Even though I have been approved for financing, and turned in a trade-in a month ago, my records still show incomplete. My OA says a manager will call. No call. So far this company has zero credibility.

Placed my order the same day and status in the account is the same as yours. Unfortunately, I haven’t been assigned any delivery Specialist and have had no communication. My understanding is that I shouldn’t expect to hear anything until about a week before delivery. So just patiently waiting for a call and staying ready.

The post delivery experience has been horrible. I took delivery June 1 and I’m still waiting for the promised $500 credit due because the referral number I used was the first my neighbor handed out. They have not received any word on their free wall charger. I sent an email inquiry to my DS last Monday and bupkis.

I was seriously considering a Model 3 to replace one of my ICE, but not anymore.
