Thanks! Same debate happened here, but we usually take my wife’s car if we bring the kids, so they can continue to destroy that.

Very nice spec Arbi. This is the spec I would have chosen if the car was just for me, but was persuaded into cream interior with 19" wheels (just because the roads are so bad here in the UK)

WooHoo, Ordered 6/30 and today my Red 75D shows In Production. Since I will be picking up in Rocklin, CA I may have the car by next Thursday or Friday. Spreadsheet updated.

Talked to owner specialist today and my S75D ordered on 7/21 is in preproduction scheduled to be complete 7/25 with delivery 2nd week of Sept. location Chicago,IL

Quick question so when your car is in production, does it email you the update? I'm sure my car will start today but the website still says, "Your Tesla order has been confirmed and scheduled for production in our factory."

From my experience, they don't email you at any stage of production, you Tesla account page just changes.

Ordered 100D Model S on July 15th, was first told I would get the car at the end of August, then it quickly became early September. I've been trying to get them to nail down a date, but they've been unable to commit. It's hard to believe they know what is going on, when only 2 weeks out, they still can't give me a date. The care needs to ship from California to Calgary, then to Winnipeg to be delivered.

I hope they don't end up delaying too much.

I forgot to mention, my Tesla account status hasn't changed, it's always "Your Tesla order has been confirmed and scheduled for production in our factory."

common experience looking at spreadsheet suggests delivery is about 60 days from order. Their original promise seemed optimistic - mid Sep seems more like it. I dont know how transport to Canada impacts. I would look at spreadsheet tied to this thread for others experience in Western Canada.

I had financing through tesla for some portion that was approved about a week before delivery. I paid the balance the night before delivery via ACH. Good question whether you can pay balance at delivery instead - i would think so.

Unfortunately, I live in the corrupt state of Texas. We have to prepay here and are not eligible for state EV rebates.

Is there another status after that or the next one is actually like "delivery to your dealer" ?
