The bar on the Plaid and the Dual Motor is black. The pictures posted recently was of a prototype. They went back and forth internally a lot, and that's why we've seen both colors.

Good news. I was really sad that they have removed this black bar. I hope they made their final decision and they will not change their mind

Yeah they did make the decision. The cars shipping now have the black bar.

Does anyone know if the mud flaps are being installed on the cars being shipped to northern states? I assume no since I have not seen anyone mentioning it here. However, my Y did come with them installed.

Trying to order them before my car come, but it is sold out on the Tesla website.

So I just learned that if you have a S on order on the west coast and don’t get it by March end, your next opportunity to get one is June. I was told the first couple of mos of each quarter the Fremont factory builds cars for east coast and mid-west orders.

The SA that told me seems fairly knowledgeable but this info is not 100% verified.

I think this is common knowledge with all SAs. I placed a hold on my Model 3 order till end of 2022, and this was the email I got -
"The hold is on your account until 2022. You can login and remove the hold at any point in time by clicking ‘I’m ready.’ Bay Area deliveries predominantly occur every 3rd month, i.e. March, June, September, December."
