Tesla has actually claimed the exact opposite — i.e., current hardware will achieve (or exceed) parity with previous generation sensors and is sufficient to enable all features with future software updates. That said, time will tell if those claims prove accurate. That said, they have made significant progress with vision park assist.I share your skepticism but in this case it's a safety related issue and isn't the front camera needed to enable some features that were pulled with USS (park/summon)?
We'll solve it with software! as I am seeing it, Tesla is now registering the vehicle for us in Texas. But, that remains to be seen. I had to do the same with my previous 2 Teslas.Question for my Texas buyers. Cash price includes TTL in my documents but previous 2 Tesla purchases I paid after the fact at the local tax office. Has something changed in Texas or is my SA ill informed?
Does anyone on this thread who received delivery of a 2024 Plaid show 359 miles of range at full charge (or extrapolated)?I started a dedicated thread on discrepancy between the Plaids EPA listed 359 vs the software's EPA display of 347 when fully charged. Several others have noted the issue here.
Since my BMS shows the highest capacity that the 99.4 kWh battery can have, I'm going to ahead and answer in advance....no.Does anyone on this thread who received delivery of a 2024 Plaid show 359 miles of range at full charge (or extrapolated)?
It does say (range est.) on the website so not sure how concerning this is. Has anyone with any 2023 model viewed the (range est) as spot on ever?I started a dedicated thread on discrepancy between the Plaids EPA listed 359 vs the software's EPA display of 347 when fully charged. 2024 Plaid rated range displayed is 347 vs EPA 359
Already being discussed in the delivery thread and a few others. Thought this deserved it's own topic. 2021-2023 MSPs had a rated range of 396 with a wh/mile constant of 244.6. The new EPA rating of 359 should be using a constant of 270 wh/mile but 279 is used instead making the displayed rated...teslamotorsclub.com

Ok sure just seems like an Estimate as noted. In a month or 2 I Estimate it will go down further. That's because you're actual range may vary. I'm just talking about the rated range EPA constant used to display your rated range based on a brand new battery.
The cars predicted range when new was spot on with the epa estimate on my Plaid and M3P. That seems to be the case for most TeslasIt does say (range est.) on the website so not sure how concerning this is. Has anyone with any 2023 model viewed the (range est) as spot on ever?
You cannot make that sh#t up!I finally got my "schedule your pickup" text but hahaha there are no available pickup times, please check again tomorrow
It should be doable. if it's one of the few 240v plugs that Tesla doesn't officially support, you can get a 3rd party adapter or change the plug to something that is appropriate (depending on wire gauge etc)I'm praying my garage 220volt wall plug adaptor works!

Real world range was much less obviously, but that’s another issue.
When I picked up mine yesterday, there was not a single other MSLR or MSP on the entire lot. The SA said they weren’t expecting any incoming for a while and EDDs were getting pushed out. For whatever that’s worth.Did anyone's MSLR EDD get delayed recently ??
