It has been showing June here in Switzerland for a few weeks already. All? Even international ones?
A few years ago Tesla shut down its factory for two weeks, but I don't remember there being any refreshes after that? My recollection is fuzzy on this.
Do we have data on delivery date changes when the nose/exterior was changed a year ago?
Tesla just moved all new Model S delivery estimated to June. Sounds like the factory is stopping for something, retooling maybe?

I am still awaiting final determination from my insurance company that our S75D is totaled, so I couldn't order yet. I did however chat with the online specialist, and was told a whole lot of new inventory cars are coming TODAY! Well, it's 1:15am the next day and I see no inventory cars at all, so either they just tell you what you want to hear, or they all work on Elon time and "today" means some time before the summer. I am starting to really not believe anything Tesla says.I placed an order for a S100D just prior to the date change. My OA told me that the June delay was so that Tesla could produce right-sided drive vehicles

I ordered one of my Tesla's beginning of April of 2015 and got the car mid May, so if this is expected, it's not expected at the same time each year.Agreed. The markets are done in batches. The switch to June for North America was expected and normal.

That was 3 years ago. I suspect their production arrangement has evolved since then. The information I provided is not speculation.I ordered one of my Tesla's beginning of April of 2015 and got the car mid May, so if this is expected, it's not expected at the same time each year.
I doubt this anything more than almost end of quarter and they probably filled their quota for the model s for the quarter.
So that would be hit 200K on April 1st, not June. Elon did say they will hit 5K Model 3's per week by end of March, no (after saying it would happen in December last year, so already having 3 extra months) ? Or does he give dates in Elon time but actually plans in real time? This is almost the middle of the quarter. The quarter ends Mar 31 and if it had anything to do with quarterly production, deliveeries would be delayed until April, not June.
Tesla's RHD market has expanded so they are probably producing more of them in total. Additionally concentrating on international production for the next few months pushes the tax incentive 200K mark out further. If I was planning at Tesla I would be aiming to hit the 200K American deliveries as early as possible in a quarter and as close as possible to a big increase in Model 3 production so they ca get as many people as possible into the incentive taper.
This really makes a lot of sense. This is almost the middle of the quarter. The quarter ends Mar 31 and if it had anything to do with quarterly production, deliveeries would be delayed until April, not June.

It is 2500/week by end of March and 5000/week by end of JuneSo that would be hit 200K on April 1st, not June.
