I went on the webchat to try and find out some info on delivery... and Tesla told me that I don't have a VIN anymore, it has been unallocated

Then I received this follow up text...

What the hell is going on??!!
I think this calls for another rule...

An EDD, VIN or Delivery Date don't mean Jack! The only thing that matters is if you're sitting in your car come collection day and, even then, how can you be sure that that's real!? How can we be sure anything is real!? Is it just me or is it really hot today? 🥵

@QuanTim at the end of September.....

Finally had my car delivered guys

It's all to do with long lead times on repairs and expensive parts etc.

With that being said, £2500 sounds a bit much. It's only £1500 for me (checked a couple of weeks ago) 25000 miles a year, no NCB, business use, and I have to declare a fault claim 18 months ago. I am 41 though but I've only been driving for just under 5 years so my quotes were quite reasonable in my opinion.
Can i ask what insurer please? Im in a similar boat and its over 3.5k
