Ordered! Now when will I see it?

I live in Nashville and my understanding is that there is a Tesla rail hub in Birmingham, AL and I live only 2.5 hours from that location. From there it gets shipped via truck so you may be on to something in that I happen to live close to an ideal distribution point.
I was told the exact same thing from my delivery specialist. Car is put on a train to Birmingham, AL. And from the car is put on a truck to the DS. After that they have to prep the car and fix any damages that may have occurred during transport.

Congratulations! I was wondering how you got the update before me given your VIN assigned date was 10 days after mine based on the spreadsheet, but then I saw you ordered in June. I got the call from my DS saying my car was going into production, but My Tesla still shows it is in the production queue (like it has said for several weeks now).

I can't see anything in My Tesla with regards to where things are sitting. My only views are the estimate delivery date and the build sheet of the car. Unless I am missing something...

Ok, here's another update. I don't know how this is possible but I'm not going to argue a 1 day production?? Regardless, I just received the following via email this morning.

The above is what I meant. I haven't seen anything like that yet that shows the car has gone into production, etc. I just got a call and then a follow up email from the DS with no graphics or timelines or anything like that (and no specific dates).

I wonder if all these cars (other than timdorr which was supposed to be delivered today) will be on the same train to Birmingham, or if they split it up into multiple trains. Anyone know how often they send a train?

My OA confirmed a few hours ago that my car is now in transit so perhaps the group of cars are on the same train.
