Refresh Model X Matrix Headlights?

As long as you don't pick up an old demo that have been sitting at the dealers.
Matrix headlights been coming on June builds. I'm confident if you get a recent build it will have matrix headlights.
I just picked up a June build demo Plaid and it has matrix headlights - YEAH! I previously had 2 other MX's 2016 and 2021 and I did not like the headlights at all (I manually raised then slightly - helped some), our Model Y with just projector (vs matrix) were far superior. I have not driven at night yet, but I would assume these are far better than the 2016 and 2021 headlights (from what I have read - yes).

I’m picking up my new MXLR on Saturday. Ordered 9/1. It’s coming with Matrix.
I went to my Tesla gallery yesterday and to look at the demo models and they all had Matrix. Pics attached. Honestly, the old headlights look better and more aggressive in my opinion. I think that the DRL light on bottom on old headlights is bigger and more aggressive looking. The turn signal is also larger on the old set of lights.

Yes they are! First real drive at light on deserted highway - much better light and light pattern than my '16 or "21 X's had. They are adjustable. I moved each side up 2 "clicks" and made a big difference and do not have anyone flashing me that they are too high. Light patterns and spread/coverage are much better. I would say that the are much closer to the many Audi's I have owned from about 10 years ago now and a Cadillac ELR with LEDs I used to own. Now to just get the Matrix full functionality to work!
The non-matrix headlights are also adjustable from the UI.

Yep, not true. I CAN adjust the headlights in my 2019 Model 3. But not my 2022 Model X. Apologies.
I don't recall this ... they have the nylon/plastic screw adjustment behind the headlight - at least my '16 and '21 did.
Probably not from the UI but theres usually a screw on the headlight to move them up and down. Super easy.
With Matrix
There is a setting under Controls > Service where you can Adjust Headlights. It resets their alignment and then you can use the scroll wheel on the steering to move each (L/R) headlight up or down to align them with each other and adjust light beam angle.

Anybody got some comparison nighttime pix?
Matrix vs Non would be great too if somebodies household (or buddies) have one of each.
I think the main thing you'd notice is the sharp cutoff on the upper edge of the headlights.

You can dream… already down $41k since January 2023, tax credit eligible, nothing else to prove or accomplish IMO. S/X sales will be way up in Q4.
They are great, super bright….way clearer and crisp than my 2018/2019 Model 3’s.
Took delivery back on 11/3.
