Congrats! I ordered a week after you, so hopefully I'll be getting that text soon. Just wondering, did the VIN ever appear for you in the Manage account page? We're required to have the VIN on the insurance in Texas, but I only have VIN from source code.

VIN showed up in the code yesterday (11/30). Got a text today (12/1) to schedule delivery on the 17th.

Welcome to the California Crowd. With the exception of a vin here or there, most of us seem to be pretty low on the delivery list.

Picked up my 3 yesterday from the Fremont delivery hub. Found two things wrong that were fixed while I waited and have 2 more minor issues to resolve.

though it sucks picking up your car outside in the rain. You can see any paint defects, though the paint looks perfect so far.

Love the car, feels like a spaceship in white/white.

It still is not on there. My only official record of the VIN is an email from my SA last night asking me to arrange insurance, which has the VIN in the body of the email.

It's becoming funny now.... I was sad for a second and then totally chuckled to myself... of course I won't have a VIN, what was I even thinking... null VIN is becoming a reality for me now.

I check t least 3 times a day. I'm with you....I can't even imagine what a VIN feels like. I ordered on 10/12

Interesting. I spoke with a rep at the Southlake showroom and he said the VIN in the email should be enough for insurance. I ordered 11/16. Waiting on VIN as well.

I dont need insurance before they will call to schedule a delivery do I? I can't imagine starting insurance before having a delivery date. Makes no sense to me. Having a Vin I could easily add it to my policy but couldnt give them an accurate start date yet.
