So, want to share something about my attempt to get more info via the delivery hotline. I called 888 771 2505 'numerous' times today. I kept entering 'my' zip code when it asked me to and every time the automated system said 'We are busy assisting customers in the show room. Good bye'.

For no known reason, after my 21st attempt, I decided to enter the zip code of the Tesla showroom in my area. And it got immediately routed to a specialist! I went ahead and asked about the usual 'any insights about my car? where it is in the process? etc. etc'

The specialist then told me that she has no additional information and they pretty much see what I see on my tesla.com screen (which I don't believe because people here have talked about it and have better experiences than mine).

In summary, if the call is not getting through for you, try changing the zip code to that of the tesla showroom in your area.

Ugh sorry to hear that D: It's been mostly really helpful for me (have tried a few combinations to get them to pick up, also) which is why I've been pushing the number every time someone needs help...

They've been able to tell me my next upcoming EDD windows, when my VIN was coming soon, answer questions, tell me exactly where my car was, etc. :O They were even able to change my name on my account and documents for me (my name changed the same week as my delivery meaning that my ID didn't match all my paperwork and they were kind enough to help out)!

Hopefully if you ever need to call again you'll get someone who's more helpful!

Ordered 6/20 Blue/Black/18/AP
Pickup in Mt. Kisco, NY (Tesla doesn't 'sell' in CT)
VIN 7/31
8/2 Did the chat thing on Tesla website - was told SA would contact me. Sent text to SA. Called SA. Called Sales number for Mt. Kisco. Waited 20 minutes on hold. Got answered by rep in regional office who promised to get SA to call me. 2 hours later, Mt. Kisco calls to set delivery appointment of 8/16. I'm out of town next week so could have been 8/12 as that's when car is scheduled to arrive. They were very accommodating. Now have the ability to make payment prior to pickup. Fingers crossed it goes well from here!
 
I called my local center and they said "It could either be Fremont direct pickup, pickup from our location, or delivered to your house". Somebody from the delivery team will call to confirm.. So we'll see when that happens, but yea they love to give non-answers.
 
Even the car is dor me, my husband has been doing this and even said he wants to add things to my car, I told him my car is not his sample piece (he wants the M2 when it comes out)
Our edd reflects so many times. Currently at 8/6-8/15. What is frustrating once my edd was at 8/2-8/9 (8 days), yet no vin. Maybe the theory of Cali folks receiving the last shipment holds true.

The EDD for my SR+ (silver, white interior, 19” wheel) have been showing 8/4 to 8/17 for the past week. Then, today (8/4), it is suddenly changed to 9/2 to 9/21 :-(

I do not yet have a VIN. I placed my order in early July. Most frustrating.

and just like that EDD is now 8/4-8/8 🤷‍♂️
Hope you other socal folks get yours today too. I didn't get an email just happened to login to my account and saw that the VIN was assigned.
I'll be following your posts. I got a VIN yesterday and the EDD pushed back again today. It seems some folks get EDD + Delivery Appointment at the same time, while others get a VIN and then play the EDD game a bit longer.
 
Picked her up today and so in love. Only issue I noticed immediately is very small chip in paint on the hood. Going to do full inspection later today since they pretty much gave us the keycards and said bye. Also found buddies to park next to at work (in the middle)

Congrats!! That red looks so good! Making me second guess the MSM.
