Yea I completely agree. However, I think with the heat pump and the fact that the batteries will heat up during long driving, it should be ok (certainly better than non heat pump SR+). Especially in my climate area. TBH I do agree there are still ?s about LFP; also we know it's a cheaper battery, all other areas are getting LFP SR+ cheaper than NCA SR+. I'm kinda ticked off that Tesla doesn't even try to fix that (how about an extra year or two of premium connectivity???). I'm not surprised though (due to market conditions). I still bought one anyways, in general I think LFP makes sense for SR, the volume is available. It's safer and longer lasting.
They may be getting what we will later [Sept] be forced to accept. I didn't pick one up because I couldn't get my desired config.
Are you sure, that will be the case? can they completely stop NCA for M3 SR+ ?
In nj at least, our state 5k rebate has been nearly 50% used since early July. If we truly don't get our orders til 2022, rebate has a chance of being gone. not worth risking losing 5k in my opinion.
Yes that was a bit spontaneous! I might regret this in the end if it becomes apparent in the next 3 or 4 weeks that the only people who are going to get tax credits/rebates are those purchasing in 2022, but then again I’m not sure I really want to wait that long just for the rebate/tax credit (with no car at present).
I've got a weird suspicion it will actually be lengthened due to battery constraint.
Ya I spoke to my SA in the springfield location and he found a sr+ already heading to springfield with the exact specs i picked, got a vin 5 minutes later with a pick up estimate of next week
