Thank you!! hope you get your VIN soon. I literally got the text right after I replied to your message about hoping to get it by mid April.
That's not bad on financing. I just applied through DCU and it was 2.75 or 2.25% if we open a checking account with them. I think I'll do that to save the .5%.Updated EDD now 3/22-3/31

When my EDD was March 21-31 a week ago I got a text about a trade in. I replied No Trade in and a few days later my EDD got pushed to Apr 20 - May 18.
Anybody else had this experience?
Finally after months of waiting I got my delivery date. Happened so fast, 6 am today VIN is in, by noon I had my date and time.

Yes once it gets built it ships out fast. On Wednesday, I thought it might be another 3 weeks,on Thursday I got the acceleration agreement then MVPA with VIN Delivery and booked delivery for Sunday morning, on Friday we get the check to pay Tesla and then getting electrician to set up power outlet and the car I get on Sunday will have a different battery heated steering wheel heated rear seats , a ryzen chip and it should have 15.5 v lithium battery. I got most of that from this forum. Itās been a rollercoaster ride but fun.
Delivery time determined by me: will receive email and text with choice of dates and times.
Yep. I got my delivery date set for next Friday after getting VIN yesterday. Only taking that long cause I'm on the East Coast and the car won't get to delivery location until Thursday afternoon. I'm getting my trade in, financing, and insurance all sorted and glad I have the extra time thanks to the CA to MA delivery time.
Happened to me also. My EDD changed to Apr 22 to May 27 after I have replied no trade-in
My initial date was Mar 18 to Mar31
Same here EDD changed this morning from March 18-31 to April 15-May 20 . What a bummer

This is my first Tesla venture and I'm so looking forward to the experience. I was a bit late to the party and took the price increase hits, but it is what it is.
I enjoy reading all of your experiences, both good and not so good. Definitely a learning experience with so much good information here to keep me sane and avoid too many pitfalls.
I do have one question that was previously addressed by another, having to do with extending delivery time (put order on hold). I have some financial issues that dictate accepting delivery early September (or late August at the earliest).
1. At what point in the order cycle should I reach out to Tesla and explain my situation? I would think before a VIN is assigned, but not sure.
2. What is the best method of making this request to Tesla? Text to SA, phone call?
