What does it do when you try? I’m able to get as far as reviewing the changes, but I haven’t tried confirming since I still prefer red

Edit: I have an S on order though, not an X

I have an MXLR ultra red in the original order without a VIN and still prefer to keep it. It's just not allowing to change the selection to stealth grey and that's not the case with other colors or any other options. I really don't want to commit to any changes. My order date is 9/3 and latest EDD is Oct 30-Nov 20.

Interesting. I have an S Plaid in Ultra red in order, also without a VIN. It does let me select gray, but I'm not going as far as committing since I don't actually want the color

I do agree the color is an upgrade. But.... I don't see any mention that this upgrade includes a front bumper camera.

I bet it's just like the Highland where they planned on it at some point but changed their mind....

I fully don't expect a front camera or RGB lights. If it does, it'll be a nice bonus. Same with it being a 2024.

Did anyone notice if you choose Ultra Red in Model X Plaid, you see that same "camera?" Although it's probably a lever for the frunk?

Guess they're updating the site. I don't currently see it for the red, but I do see it on the black, grey, and blue. Edit: Now it's showing for all colors for me

I noticed it. It's shadow of the "T" logo. 100% sure it NOT a camera.

For sure shadow…look at the light source, lower grill is lit up and look at the circled spot on the bumper, light reflection. Two shots compared

yeah, but there isn't a hole in the T of the logo for light to shine all the way through to make the "dot" of the shadow...

I mean, sure it could be a shadow...but why the dot in the middle?

So if you look at the images of the S/X on the owner's manual, you can see some trim in that frunk / bumper gap in about the same spot. I think it's just the lighting change in the render that's making it more apparent.

Could be a reflection of the lighting setup? Like a reflective lighting umbrella

I think it’s matte gray. I think you will need to pay more than $5,000 to change it to Matte. I love matte

Its not matte and if it were it sucks. Cant go through an automatic wash and you need to use special cleaners by hand on it. I had a matte genesis gv70 and would never get another matte car again. Looks cool but everything else sucks.
