Googled Coates Electric Orangeville. The phone number on the truck matches (at least all the digits we can see) their number, so he must be right. So presumably they will get the contract for the planned SC in Orangeville itself.

I imagine the Belleville crew will move on to Brockville next. So May-June ish they'll get started.

As it stands there aren't too many trips where you're not well covered on major highways. The only trips I can think of that isn't looked after are off the beaten path, places like Haliburton and Kawarthas cottage country although Kawarthas are reasonably well serviced by port hope for Torontonians.

Ottawa-North Bay needs one (Renfrew?). Would also help for Ottawa-Kawarthas through Algonquin Park.

Yeah the only routes I see that are a PITA are things like Haliburton cottages, Algonquin park, etc. Way off the beaten path stuff.

Makes sense. Being where they are in Belleville they would be mainly meant for long distance driving along the 401.

Hey that’s a really good idea. They may not be able to tell you where they are going next due to an NDC, but doesn’t hurt to ask.

Yeah they got there in a month. Started around April 1st according to a friend nearby.

I stopped on the 5th to take pics etc.

Today's the 29th and its looking like it was 80-90% done as of those pics a couple of days ago.

Exactly - sometimes these sites like 99% down and they sit there for a month or two before being turned on. Other times they are turned on very quickly.
