The sunset pics were a few days ago, pics with tarps were today (it rained buckets!). Looks like they’re ready for some fresh pavement and pedestals soon!

Odd that they cut out that huge chunk of asphalt and replaced it with gravel. I suspect something stupid like one company contracted to remove the pavement and another contracted to put it back, but they need erosion control until the city inspectors sign off.

Stopped by today, still blocked off but looks pretty much done outside of the gravel in front of the stations, seems really odd.

Can't wait for this to open, but dear lord does 130 Ave SE suck, one of the worst areas in the city for suburban congestion.
