Definitely agree that the Charlotte-Atlanta corridor seems to have relatively sparse supercharger coverage, especially compared to the Charlotte-Raleigh corridor just up the road. I hope that Spartanburg will be considered next as it's the junction of I-85/I-26.Good to hear. They either need to expand GVL or put a new one between CLT and ATL. Hopefully this one will be at the Love's Travel Stop (exit 4) so there will be some amenities.
It is near Sugar Tit though."Fairplay' ... nowhere near Washington D.C. I suppose.
Yeah, this should make skipping Greenville possible for a lot of folks going between Atlanta and Asheville or Charlotte. Greenville has been really busy lately, so that's a big improvement.Splitter!
It's splitter of a 115.9 mile gap from Buford, GA to Greenville, SC.
Any updates? Will be traveling down for the 4th weekend and it would be awesome if it were up and running but that's a stretchI drove by this morning about 10am. Nine stalls are built, three left to do. The power equipment is still wrapped. Quite a few workers around, but no one I asked had any info on date of completion.
No updates on this specific charger, but a couple of weeks ago we were in Michigan and ran up on a crew that was building 3 superchargers in the area. They said that Tesla has a commission team and they were trying to get the new superchargers commissioned before the week of July 4.Any updates? Judging from the pics above it looks like they might be ready for the commission team before the 4th. Just my opinion.
