I’m guessing very few will be magic dock until they come up with a configuration that supports more charge port locations. What they have out there for now is just testing the waters.

Oops yeah sorry folks I forgot to check in. I was here Tuesday Mar 7 and some bricklayers were building the enclosure at the far end of this picture. I could see there was nothing substantial visually so didn't take any pictures. Sorry I forgot to report.
This one might be coming to life sometime soon.
Looks almost complete! Is that the transformer on the wall just behind the chargers? It may be because it wasn’t there in earlier photos.

ETA: I looked at the drawings on the permit, and they indicate that the only items in that brick enclosure are the 4 V3 cabinets and maybe a smaller communications box.

Looks like there is more to do than I previously thought. The transformer is not in the brick enclosure. It is somewhat “across the street”, on the far end of the charge pedestals from the Tesla cabinets, over by Buffalo Wild Wings. No power cabling to the cabinets run yet. A trench needs to be made, conduits buried, etc. No meter on the transformer.

OK, thanks. That’s where the drawing from post #97 indicated it would be. I think the drawing indicates a power line is running under that bed. The drawing also gives a hint at what is in the bricked in area - 4 V3 chargers and the communications unit.
Interesting, usually by the time the transformer is placed on its concrete base, the conduits to the V3 chargers have already been run and any underground drilling completed. The concrete base is poured around those conduits before the transformer is placed. Obviously they are still working on a hole. So maybe they are simply connecting the power there.

How is it looking there in Georgetown? Does it look like they have the transformer connections completed? 11 days since the last photo posted, so seems like that should be done. Fingers crossed this comes on line real soon!
Permit wasn’t issued until around 12/20/22 and construction started around 1/17/23, so finishing up 2 to 2.5 months later seems about right for an installation where they have to excavate and replace existing parking lot and individually wire chargers. This must be very close as the transformer was already installed as of 3/13/23.

Yeah, I checked from the car navigation a couple of days ago and not there yet. Without a photo of the transformer showing if the meter is installed, hard to know status. Sure looks cleaned up and ready to go - except for the charger number stickers.
Well searching Facebook I found this. So does that mean they won’t turn it on until April 15?

No. A lot of Superchargers go online before a local Tesla club holds a “ribbon cutting”. I’ve charged at 2 Superchargers so far prior to the ribbons got shredded.

I’m there (here?) now. Everything looks good on the chargers but there is no power on.

Thanks much for the update and pics. Too bad no meter yet - that’s quite disappointing. But they are still cleaning up around the installation.

I saw via google search that both TMC of Austin and TMC of San Antonio had the 4/15 Georgetown TX event listed, but I couldn’t get either site to finish loading.
