I'm not too crazy about the location. It's good for users, but you would not be able to get in and out of most restaurants in 1/2 hour... even 1 hour, if busy. They will have to police this often, especially on weekends.

I'm amazed they got such a premium location. Big bucks.

Based on what they charge for parking over there, someone might be able to sit idle (fully charged) there for an extra 30 min. (@ $.40/min) and it could be cheaper than moving to a paid lot.

I bet the property management cut Tesla a deal to get these chargers. They have been struggling for years to draw people into this location. It does get really busy on the weekends. This was a recent video of the Illegal ATV riders that used the sidewalks to get around. You can see the new Tesla Parking lot in the video by the rock wall at 05 of 45 seconds in (its on the lower left of the video).

It does get pretty busy and they keep building and building. The Gaylord has plenty of conferences and the MGM has a steady stream of patrons. The area is turning into what they envisioned. The worst aspect is the lack of public transport.

About the ATVs and dirt bikes a couple stop sticks here and there should bring a lot of local media footage

I stopped by today and the equipment is on site! However, I'm not sure I will be leaving my MS unattended. The remainder of that parking area was being used as a hangout spot for a rowdy bunch. These are some premium parking spots carved out of an area that is already over crowded. Getting Keyed is a strong possibility.

Also, there were some new Signs up that "ATV Digital Imaging is in progress". Likely it is in response to the video above, but not sure what the technology is.

Either way, Hopefully MGM and other deep pocket tenants of that area step it up a notch for security. This really has been a fun area to hang out.

Well, just blare the Frank Sinatra or Celine Dion music and the rowdy bunch will move away. Gas stations have been doing that for years to get loiters to leave.

Funny story, my better half had Maria Carey Christmas music blasting when the valet pulled up. He couldn't figure out how to turn it down. It was Mothers day mind you. He just laughed, and All the people who wanted to check out the model X, just sort of walked away.

So, what do you think? Labor Day? ;)

Doesn't look like much change from Friday. My brother-in-law and sister live in the area and got some pictures today. They are Model 3 reservation holders. I'll be using this supercharger every time I visit them!

Picture overload a little but with all the angles it's very clear now where it is at ;)

I stopped by today. It looks like the conduit is all run. The trenches have been back filled with dirt and the concrete footings are starting to be poured.

As a side note, I went to MGM casino just up the road. They have 36 free ChargePoint parking spots. 2 had plug in vehicles with the cables attached, two spots were empty, and 32 spots were ICEd with vehicles ranging from Ford Fusion Hybrid (non plug in), SUVs, Vans, Porsche, and even a few muscle cars. Interestingly 8 were hanging handicap flags from their mirrors. I talked to security and they have no intention of towing any ICEd car there as it's not breaking a law.
