I spoke with the technician on March 5th and he told me it should be operational by mid April.

Out of curiosity--and please excuse my ignorance if this is common knowledge--what's with the one unit at the far end on the side of the stall instead of the end? Is that typical or unusual?
It’s simply a stall you can drive into. The others require you to back in.
And regarding the second question--is that typical or unusual--hard to say. It's not at every site, but certainly is pretty common at a lot of them. If they have an area of the parking lot that has a corner, they do frequently try to build a setup like that, with most of them as back-in spots, and the one along the side as a pull-forward. Twin Falls, ID and Pendleton, OR are two near me that immediately come to mind that have that.

Could someone go by and check on it? It's not impossible that it's an active site already. It often takes them days to put them in the Nav and update the website. Most likely scenario though is that we are awaiting a Tesla tech to come test and activate.
Can you leave more often? It looks like northgate also got utility hardware show up... lol

Drove by this week multiple times...nothing was touched in more than a week...from what I am told more than a week ago is that utility company needs to place new pole along road...line goes to orange cone as seen in picture...no green boxes

Thanks for the update. I also drove by Saturday and can confirm. No green transformer, so looks to be waiting on the utility hookup, and a bit of paving on the trench. Probably still weeks away. Standard 7+1 (forward) pedestal config. Easy access for eastbound drivers, a bit more tricky for westbound drivers, but still not difficult or all that far off the interstate.

Update: Green Boxes placed today...Pole placed in position along road...Utility work at pole and some pavement fill in left...other items as well?..maybe opened next week at the latest according to a worker today. Will keep you updated.

So the green utility box did go in the absolutely weird location. That’s going to make that space extremely tight (door dent risk and crowding the car next to them) and possibly be hell to back into. It might be possible to reach that stall from the other side, but you’ll certainly be in the general lane of parking lot traffic...

They are going to repaint the lines so that the stalls are centered on the parking signs. It won't be as bad as you're thinking.

I always forget that they repaint those lines. I’ll never understand why in some situations where they have the room to leave the lines the same and place the pedestals in the correct location they don’t...

Could I understand if they need to repaint them green anyway for proper EV charger marking, but Tesla doesn’t bother with that...

It's generally because they need to include one stall that is wider than the normal existing stalls and/or include an accessible walkway in order to meet disabled accessibility requirements. The way that they "create" that extra space is by narrowing all the adjacent stalls a little bit.

I literally don't think I've ever noticed a wider or accessible stall area! I'll have to look closer next time. I figure there's some reason behind everything they do, just never could figure it out. :)
