This is a friendly contest for Tesla owners to track the number of unique public Superchargers where they have charged

- "Supercharger count" is the number of unique public Superchargers where you have charged (just being there does not count), whether or not you were the person plugging in the vehicle (such as a Valet Parking garage or a Passenger) and whether or not it was your own personal vehicle (such as a rental, a loaner, or a friend's Tesla) as long as you were the one who drove >50% of the distance to reach the charger(s).
- The list of chargers in the supercharging.life database are the ones included in the game. If you think one should be added or removed from the list, let us know.
- Only chargers available to the public without special permission are included in the game.
- Chargers not connected to the grid are not counted.
- Doublet locations like the North/South Supercharger 'pairs' in CT, ME, NH, etc. count as individual locations.
- More than 1 charger at the same address, such as Lenox Square Mall (Atlanta, GA) or Montgomery Mall (Bethesda, MD) count as individual locations when they appear as a separate location on the Tesla Nav screen.
- Inactive competitors will be archived and removed from the leaderboard. Just post an update to be reactivated.

See Supercharging.Life database for info on how to post your own visits to the database (preferred), or post your locations with date visited to this thread and one of the admins will update your list for you. All visits must be posted to this thread - not just entered in supercharging.life. If you are the first in the game to visit a supercharger location, please post to the thread as soon as you can so others know it has been visited.

Well, times have changed.
Back in 2013 my closest supercharger was about 90 minutes away so I think it took me a week or two to test the legs on the car from just my daily commute. Newark DE, even though it's just a highway rest stop, will always have a fond place in my heart.
I just visited Newark and the other I-95 center stops... man those left exits and entrance ramps are a thrill... and terrible for my Safety Score.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a route planning tool? I have 20 unvisited chargers from here to DC and the surrounding areas. In my rudimentary check of a map, it looks doable in one travel day if I leave the kiddo behind and travel on a Sunday. But I could be dead wrong so want to try to calculate a realistic route to potentially take it down to 15ish if the outliers are a bridge too far.
It's a little late, but I usually use RouteXL.com, which will let you plug in 20 locations and mark your start/end, then once that optimizes the route I plug it into ABetterRoutePlanner and save it for the trip.
I've used A Better Routeplanner for pre-planning my supercharger runs since I did my first visit to Custer in 2018. The last 15k mile trip I did this year was broken out into two ABRP plans, one outbound and one return. The outbound plan and 169 supercharger waypoints, and the return plan had 71. I pretty much kept to those plans for the entire trip, using printed copies of the waypoints to pre-load the day's worth of supercharger visits into the nav in order so I wouldn't have to keep referring to the plan itself. While you can load it up in the car's web browser, it's definitely not something I would recommend.
Printing the route is a great idea, I'd definitely do that if I had access to a printer... having the ABRP app forget where you are or not be able to update the route due to lack of signal is quite a pain.
I thought better of my limitations and routed 15 rather than the 20 I first considered. A few tiny snags but all around a successful day. 11.25 hours, 15 chargers, 390 miles.

As it happens, it takes twelve Supercharger stops for me to visit my parents, one way. Is it fair that my mother, age 97, complains that I don't visit as often as I should?

The trip from DC to Bellingham to visit my parents is 30 charges and 2,900 miles, each way. It can be done in three days of driving or a five-hour flight and a few hours to/from airports. I prefer driving even though it's a major time commitment that often eats into the time we have to be able to visit. Looks like we might be moving out there very soon, which is something I've been planning on and working toward for 5+ years. Pacific Northwest, here we come! :)

We'll be moving out West soon too, probably early next year, to Seattle.
 
My wife and I drove from New Castle CO to St George UT yesterday on the way to Boulder City NV to visit some friends. The Green River UT supercharger showed "reduced service". The in car map wanted to route us to Price UT. So we charged up to 96% in Grand Junction CO so we could make it (at a reduced speed) to Price. Turns out that all the chargers were working at Green River. A couple years ago we drove across North Dakota and one of the superchargers also said "reduced service". No other option (I did check plugshare). But at that supercharger again all the chargers were working. Not sure what to believe.
Most of the 24+ chargers in Beaver UT were in use around 4pm.
We saw a young lady coasting to a stop about 30 feet from a supercharger in Beaver. Her friend got out to push. I was stopping to help out when I saw about 6 men from the service station run over to help push her. Cutting it a little too close...
Reduced Service often means that some stalls are out while the others are functioning as normal. So unless you plugged in to every stall, the Reduced Service label could have been "correct." Of course it would be nice if the Nav provided more detail on such disruptions.
 
That’s great! We are looking on Whidbey and Fidalgo islands. Real estate prices have really exploded since the start of COVID. C’est la vie.
Yeah, we started looking the morning after Trump was elected. Prices have gone up. We were looking at Blaine as we could just jump the fence in the back yard and be in Canada.

We also looked at Bellingham as we attended a friends wedding there, but she advised us NOT to move there as it rains so often people get serious depression. Of course, that was before we knew global warming would turn the normally rainy SF Bay into a drought ridden part of the world. Cannot even imagine what's gonna happen to LA.

Personally, I'd prefer Vancouver, both Washington and B.C., maybe just a condo in B.C. Love the idea of doing all my shopping in Portland, across the river from Vancouver, WA, with their Zero sales tax, and then returning to Vancouver to Zero income tax. My wife's nephew moved to Mill Creek (north of Seattle) so she is focused on that or Sequim (which I'd love) or Gig Harbor (also). Where is the "Moving to the PNW" thread?

But we have friends that moved to Monterey, CA so that might be good too if we can move with the property tax base that we have now.

You guys really dont want to move to the NW. It's a rainy, depressing, dreary, crime ridden socialist hell.
Plus fires and smoke. Don't forget the fires! Unless one lives right on the coast, then it is tsunamis and chance of a 9.0 earthquake!

Can Seattle and Portland handle a really big quake off the coast on the Juan de Fuca fault? The last one was in 1700 and the research suggests they happen every 300 years, on average, from what I've read.

(My niece and family live in Seaside, my parents and nephew in Portland, and my sister in the smoke near Terrebone. My sister keeps trying to get me to move closer. I have resisted the suggestion.)
 
Speaking of fires, there’s one of those on the edge of Santa Barbara that has closed the 101. The new SC here is at a mall with a restaurant we visit regularly, Lure. Excellent seafood.

Also, don’t drink the water in Benton Harbor.
