Doesn’t that lock the frunk? That may prevent them from doing the work properly?
I had PPF and Ceramic done and had to leave it all as normal so they could access everything. All I could do was speed limit… but as my guys had a couple of Porsche GT3 Competition spec cars doing the same, they weren’t about to take mine for a fang😀

BUT this is way OFF TOPIC and there is a very comprehensive thread on PPF/Ceramic/tinting etc elsewhere under the Australia forum.
elddum, thanks. I am getting ceramic coating only so dont think they need to open the frunk. Anyways, they'll call if they need anything. I'll check PPF/Ceramic/tinting forum too.

So I got home, checked for updates via my home wifi (Optus). No update.
Connected to my phone hotspot (Telstra), bam, update.
Being that I have only had updates now when connected to Telstra I’m seeing a theme here…

Haven't got anything yet. Is this update for everyone or for some chosen ones?

I still haven't been notified of the new update. Is there anyone else in the same boat.

Out of pure interest, is your home internet that the car connects to via wifi with Telstra? If not, do you have a work phone or something you can hot spot to just to test with.

Hi,
I picked up my Tesla Model Y this morning and it did update, but only to the 2024.8.9, no other updates available…
Is there a reason why it’s doing that?
I can see people installing 2024.14
Is there a way to ‘force’ most recent updates to be Installed? I also selected ‘advanced’ under software update settings

Not really, keep checking every now and then, have the car connect to your home wifi and most importantly, enjoy driving your brand new Model Y!
