How many US Superchargers were we supposed to add in 2015 ? Are we now half way there ?
147. No. Currently at 51 (listed and mapped on Tesla's SC page and on car's nav, but counting Hooksett as a single site) and should be 73.5 at the end June. We'll see if Baker City and some of the others that are close appear tomorrow; even if they do, they'll be well short of halfway.

Status of "Coming Soon" superchargers

Here's this month's update on the status of the North American "Coming Soon" superchargers as updated by Tesla in April. Eight new superchargers opened in North America in the last month, with about 7 more already built but awaiting transformer / power connection / testing. About 10 should be opening this month.

Nashville went live today; see Supercharger - Nashville TN - Live! See Supercharge.Info for the tally. That makes 199 Superchargers in the U.S.

Any predictions for when 200 U.S. Superchargers will happen?
sweet!! Our 2nd home is in Nolensville - just east of there - so when we retire in just a few years - i'll know where to stop after making a costco run, which is just west of there!
.

Columbia, Mo. is now permitted. Closing the final gap on that cross country route

Actually it sounds like it's scheduled to be decided this week. Anybody happen to know how to find out when/where that hearing will take place, or more importantly, whether it's open to the public?

The case number is 15-2398 and it's scheduled to be decided this week - so no permit quite yet.

Supercharger Progress (by quarter) The bars represent new locations opening, and the lines are cumulative totals. Note that while there's a somewhat disconcerting drop-off in Q1/Q2 of this year, there was a similar drop last year, followed by a rebound, so perhaps there's a pattern developing and we'll see a rebound in Q3/Q4. This is a little clearer in the 2nd chart, which shows worldwide installation rates.

I added Q3 of this year, and put some semi-transparent bars representing projected quarterly totals for each region based on installations to date in the current quarter. Europe is on track for a huge bump up from Q1/Q2, but Asia Pacific is not even on track to match it's Q2 rate of new installations. North America is starting to show an odd trend of gradual increases from Q2 through Q1, followed by sharp drop-offs Q1 to Q2.

The Oxnard Supercharger recently had parking blocks installed in the pavement of each charging stall. See my post #278 at Supercharger - Oxnard - Page 28

Is this being done at many other Superchargers as a way to facilitate Auto Pilot auto parking?

Hamilton Marketplace,NJ has had those since it opened. I don't think they have anything to do with auto parking,

Status of "Coming Soon" superchargers

Here's this month's update on the status of the North American "Coming Soon" superchargers as updated by Tesla in April. Only one "Coming Soon" site, near Bishop CA, hasn't been found by TMC scouts. Nine new superchargers opened in North America in the last month, but the pace is slowing with maybe 5 openings expected this month.
