Were you able to get your work, I think you said you flew for a living so a pilot?, schedule to allow you to pick your car up? Or will you have to delay until you have your next day off?
I'm off thru Saturday at 3 AM. For the weekend I'm just on call. It's been an odd month and I haven't been called to fly in 4 weeks...a record after 11 years in this business. Just my luck though I would have been called to work on Saturday for a long trip. Thankfully everything appears to be working out. I was going to get tint and PPF on the front done Friday...looks like that will happen next week.

glad your finally getting your car.

The Dallas delivery team are much more motivated and customer service orientated than HQ. I reached out to the SC for a better delivery time. Within 2 hours the Senior Orientation Specialist confirmed 3:30PM tomorrow. An hour later another person on her team (but no in the email chain) texted me letting me know my car arrived and did I want an earlier time. Much better than dealing with the IDA in Nevada. Makes no sense to have out of state people making the appointments.

If I do a carfax check on my never possessed car, will I find a repair on the VIN, destroying any resale value?
You should definitely do a CarFax check. At least one other VIN in Dallas was rejected, then sent to Service King, but they filed a CarFax, so the second buyer rejected it too. Last I saw, that VIN was still in Dallas inventory. THey should disclose and discount for any CarFax.

I think my worst nightmares are gonna come true. Paid in full 2 weeks ago and 10 days ago my ISA said that my car was already in transit from Cali to Houston. I called my delivery center today and they are saying that they may get my car on Saturday.... that’s the day I’m supposed to take delivery.

Quarter end push is real, the SC told me that if they get it to late on Saturday then they would delivery it to me on Sunday. So apparently corporate is keeping stores open Sunday for the last day. I just don’t really have high hopes that my car will even make it to the SC who knows where it is now.

According to my IDA my car is still in california. He says logistics has not assigned my car a transport yet. AND he cant schedule any october appointments. what the hell

I hear you on this one. I've been fully paid six days and my car is sitting in california awaiting assignment to a load. Texas friends, we are low priority once they have our money. lets everyone be clear. The people handling the logistics of getting us our cars couldn't care less that we have paid for a car that is sitting in their lots.

I think cars going to Austin go out in batches. So if you catch the batch, it can be quick. But if you miss a shipment, you probably have to wait for the next one. Mine was in Austin 4 days after paid in full.
