50 miles is pretty decent for a flat. Most manufacturer's services won't take you that far for a flat.
Unfortunately that's dulled somewhat by the fact that Tesla used a rare tire size on the Model S, and the chance of finding anyone besides Tesla with such a tire in stock is probably pretty slim. Good news if the tire is patchable, though!
I think Tesla really does care about their customers. Growing at such a big rate isn't easy so mistakes are bound to happen. Good to see they pay attention to customers and to TMC as well.
This is a rare turn for Tesla. I'm personally glad to see the range increased and it makes sense as you can easily be 500 miles from the nearest Tesla service center.
I feel fortunate that my service center is only 10 miles away from my home or office, but this change is great in case were traveling and more than 50 miles from a service center. Yeaaaahhh to Telsa!
When I was stuck at a dead Supercharger they towed me about 100 miles for free. It wasn't Tesla fault, but they knew the Supercharger was out of power (the guy on the phone told me). Shortly after that they added a feature that shows a Supercharger out of service on the navigation screen.
