Spoke with Tesla this morning to see if my RN (ordered towards the end of August) had been assigned a VIN number yet and was advised that they have had a slight delay with the ships. So they are expecting it to be assigned closer to the end of October and a late November delivery. At this point, it feels like I'm never going to get this car

I didn't think I had a VIN as I hadn't heard any updates from Tesla but after using the chrome plugin you mentioned I've got one and I'm now very excited as hopefully I'll get my model 3 LR this quarter thanks.If you’re waiting for a VIN to show in source code there is a handy chrome plugin that will search for you when you visit your account page and pop up when it finds one. Saves going through the view source/find process repeatedly.

M3LR Black/Black, ordered 22/08 which gave me EDD of September but no such luck!
If you have been vin allocated then you will receive a text message within a few days.Guess there's no way to use this VIN extension on your Tesla dashboard if you're leasing and the car doesn't appear on the page? Best bet might be to nag the chat with my RN number or just "wait-and-see"
I ordered my model 3 long range 25/8/21 & added tow hitch a week or so later. I found my VIN in source code yesterday so hopefully you’ll get yours soon.
Ordered LR at the end of August. Found the VIN using the magical source code technique today but nothing official from Tesla. Hope to get text or email this week!
Ordered my M3LR August 26th and found the VIN had popped into the source code yesterday. Still waiting to hear it officially from Tesla, but hopefully in the next few days. Can't wait!

Same spec for me and nothing yet, can’t look behind the code as mines a company car too. Ordered about 15th Sept, received my RN on 21st sept
