Unsworth Vs Musk defamation trial

Can (and if so, would) Elon be able to appeal if he loses (and by extension, Unsworth if he loses)? Or is this going to be finished one way or the other no matter what?
There was some mention of the risk of going to a jury trial which made me wonder if there was something special about this trial versus the usual sorts of trials with appeals and all that.

Since it seems to have been rejected by the Judge and the trial is being finished with jury decision,
this looks to be a strong ground for appeal by Musk in case he loses.

Its an absurd amount. All over a name calling on Twitter? Come on man. But like I said, I would not be surprised if he loses. This is America.

verdict is in, waiting for court to resume, then the reporters to get back out in the hallway.
Remind me why the judge allowed this bullshit to trial?

Well, TSLA stock is in an uptrend. But I can hardly see any serious investor rushing in to buy TSLA because the CEO got away with Tweeting that someone was a "pedo-guy"! It's not at all germane to the company.
