In car footage of a 1:53.7 despite an off and some traffic along the way! Was not the car's fastest lap but entertaining for sure. Thinking with full SOC, fresh tires and a little more time behind the wheel 1:49 is possible...

@UnpluggedP you list the wing & spoiler there. Are you running both devices?
For Tesla Corsa we did. If you notice the mounting point you’ll see the slight variation of the upright. We are continually evolving our products as we race more.
Still no update on the CF trunk lid? I noticed you aren't running it in this event. I would've expected a prototype by now atleast. In our last email correspondence you said these would be available by late summer.
We also wanted to share that anyone needing to shave some additional weight...we are now offering lexan windows for the model 3. All the info can be found on our product page below.

Usually it's opposite. And if you have that question - dont even consider this option. It's also going to be scratched way more than glass (coating helps only somewhat). It's a track only mod together with a full cage setup.Does Lexan improve in soundproofing vs Glass?
For racing you can probably add a layer of film on the outside for protection to keep the windshield from scratching.Usually it's opposite. I believe it's already added. It's one of the way if you keep changing it. It's just not a street setup by any means. For racing you can probably add a layer of film on the outside for protection to keep the windshield from scratching.
How did you figure the strongest points to weld the cage to? Is there a technical document to follow? You guys actual engineers or just any cage is better than no cage?
Thanks MXLR for posting the rule bookStart at pg 27. http://ppihc.org/wp-content/uploads/2020-Rule-Book.pdf
Kudos to the welder. That's nice.
When I saw this thread pop up I never looked at it... I only tried to parse the title into something that made more sense to me. What I came up with was what your last suggestion seems to be: Model 3 race car up Pikes Peak. The ALL CAPS fooled me into thinking that UP meant a direction, not Unplugged Performance .Pick a title, any title:
UP MODEL 3 PIKES PEAK RACE CAR
MODEL 3 PIKES PEAK RACE CAR UP
3 PIKES PEAK RACE CAR UP MODEL
3 PEAK RACE CAR UP MODEL 3 PIKES
CAR RACE UP PIKES PEAK MODEL 3
