Hasn't been a whole lot of movement on this update it seems. I'm guessing it isn't being pushed to the masses as previous updates have been? I'm still on 17.17.4 which is making me car sick around corners, LOL

It's been fairly quiet on the FW front the last few weeks other then Elon mentioning the significant update coming in June (New AP control algorithm, smooth as silk I think he said)
Wonder if there will be a small update in the interim otherwise we may not see anything too soon

I received 17.17.17 two days ago, and have not noticed anything different from 17.17.4
Just got 17.17.17. Was 17.17.4. Was in Service Center for mirror fold out mech repair. Apparently a few months back they changed to a new vendor. The new mech requires more current or higher voltage (I'm not sure which) or it gets stuck sometimes. Many cars shipped before they figured this out. They said one of these releases contains software fix. But the SC did not know which. Tesla central does not tell them. I wonder if Tesla central decided that I needed this update due to new mirror mech?
So who knows what else may be in this release, but while we always want the big stuff, it's interesting to remember that there are a blizzard of smaller things that Tesla is tracking as well.

Tested "Auto High Beam Dimming" a lot on trip this weekend. Seems to be working fine for me around windy roads at night in Mendocino.

I used auto high beams around Julian CA this weekend and had to disable it since other cars kept flashing their high beams at me.

They don't dim quick enough (17.17.17). They do eventually dim, but by the point that they do, the oncoming traffic has already been blinded.

I'd rather have Elon say its "coming soon" than tempt us with semi-specific dates like "next month". Uhhhhh here it is: next month! In fact we are nearly 17% thru "next month" already.
Today Elon said: "could be early next week"
