2020.8.2 hit my SR+ last night. Here are the UK SR+ release notes. Haven’t had a chance to take it for a spin yet.

Finally got 2020.8.2 this morning! A question on voice control, when I get a text off my Mrs, it reads her name perfectly, however, when I ask the car to text her, it says no contact with that name found?

Any ideas?

I have 220.8.1 and hope .2 has sorted the scary steering correction alarm every time I drive the car the way it was designed to be.

Apologies if asked and answered several times but is there any way to encourage my car to pick up 2020.8.2? I got offered 2020.4.2 as soon as I got the car, but now it says it’s up to date.

If you are already on advanced setting, probably not. Tesla target vehicles with different versions in their own time. I don't think you are far enough off the curve to warrant a software service request. imho, by sounds of it, 2020.4.x is a good place to be at present.

And don’t forget the alarming unwanted steering interventions in .8! Better off without the wheelie bins and traffic lights until they get that fixed.

8.2 installing on mine now, it wasn't there last night but appeared this morning. I'll try it on Monday when i go to work.

Be careful what you wish for. It brought me (and some others) repeated "steering correction" warning alarms which are really quite startling ... believe me, you are better of without them! It wouldn't be so bad if some steering correction was actually applied but it just seems to be a spurious notification.

Have upgraded to 8.2 and can confirm that false steering alerts very much reduced

I can’t do anything else with my bloody car. I’ve driven it 10 feet since it was delivered yesterday. It’s got 7 miles on the clock. The only enjoyment I can get is trying to encourage it to give me 8.2.

Mine has 12 miles, but it was about 5 miles home from Brent Cross.
