I'd think at a multi-stall installation the first unit would be CCS2/Chademo and subsequent ones CCS2/CCS2..

And long term multi+stall is preferable so you've got a better chance of not having to wait.

When you have multi-stall sites, it is also beneficial to have some stalls that are faster so that cars that can charge faster can turn over faster.

Redundancy is key. Single points of failure are Bad, mkay. (Even QESH has those backup AC stations, so at least something can be happening while you wait for the ICEr to move his car.)

Nissan seems so have adopted CCS2 (in Europe) for their new Ariya, lets hope they do so here too, and then put CCS2 on new Leafs outside Japan.
Using half of the charging outlets for one model of car while all other models have to use the other is silly. Having adapters for both Chademo and CCS2 I don't mind but surely going forward CCS2 is the way to go, especially here with the number of single charger sites.

This is mitigated because currently all the DC chargers we have here you cannot simultaneously use the CHAdeMO and CCS2 outlets anyway, so it's not like something is going unutilised when the CHAdeMO side is free and someone is waiting for the CCS2.

The new Tritium RTM75s are supposed to support simultaneous charging from both sides with an imminent software update though, which will change the situation.

Given that one of the site already rolled out is in Sale, I'm not sure the "North West" in the thread title makes much sense anymore. Should probably be "Charging The Regions (Victoria)" or something.

Anyone know what the tariffs will be? The sites are free at the moment according to the Evie app.

Don't think that's been disclosed (bit like NRMA in NSW).
Evie's standard rate for 50kW is 40c/kWh but I'd assume the rate here will be set by CTR/Vic Govt

Saw this morning that they've painted the bays for the charging station in Mooroopna, and the one in Shepparton is under construction too. Good to finally get some chargers in the region even if they're on the slower end.

Isn't Mooroopna next to Shepparton? - surely they don't both need chargers? - Or are they separate networks?
