Hey if anyone got a text message about their VIN, I might have a way to get your VIN for you early! Send me a message. This might also work for anyone that is close to delivery date.

I was wondering if anyone has ever received a text from Tesla stating:

"Hi [Name], prepare for your Model Y delivery by providing payment method details. Complete your pre-delivery tasks for RN in the Tesla app."

I had finished all my pre-delivery tasks up to the Financing part. I still haven't received a VIN yet or any text regarding getting a VIN soon. (MYP OD 2/14 White/Black Latest EDD April 7 - May 12 SoCal)

FYI, my hubby and I are picking up a Model X this week instead. Tesla won't even return or credit the $250 order for for my MYP. They won't transfer, apply any online credit, nothing. O well.

Good for you. Looks like your PF702 jumped my PF701 in line for the train.

Mine is PF705xxx in Tampa, we might be delivery on the same week.

People say it's cheap but I don't like the idea of insurance monitoring my driving. If that doesn't bother you then probably a good option.

I’m a pretty safe driver 99% of the time. The other 1% I like to punch it at the green light!

Probably a week. Day after I got my vin they had me pick appointment. I’m in VA
