My guess is that no one from Telsa responds/shows up, leading to a default judgement against them.

Did you opt out of the arbitration requirement when you bought your car? Not sure if that matters in small claims?

Thanks! I think some pics of the 19s must be floating around. But I did just swap them back on last week, so if you still need pics after the reply above (which answered the question about range also) please let me know. I'm glad the range question was answered because I have zero awareness...

Body shop recommendation near Cherry Hill Tesla?

It seems you missed the last post on this thread where I pointed to another thread where this continued. That being said, I never did update that thread either! So, in short, Tesla did it as a remote service. Literally showed up at my office and swapped out the old bumper with a new factory...

Blue Plaid - Paint the calipers or not?

It's right in my signature. They are SV104 (in either 21" or 19" depending on the season). If you reach out to Jaime from Signature Wheels, tell him I sent you!

But the Tesla kit includes a rear caliper (4 piston) instead of reusing the stock caliper (1 piston). That has to account for some of the $3000 difference.

    Plaid brake issues

It says that because it doesn't clear Tesla's 19" wheels. It doesn't mean that it won't fit in *any* 19" wheel. For example, the RB BBK (which has bigger rotors than the Tesla kit) will fit inside my SV 104 19" wheels. I expect the Tesla kit would fit also.

Model S Plaid Brakes Are Terrible!

Not disagreeing with you, but at least currently, this price seems pretty competitive with what's available (well, not really available, but you could pre-order it). The RB CCB kit is $17k and doesn't include a replacement rear caliper, or installation. (420/390) If Tesla includes...

It probably wasn't clear, since I buried it in between photos, but "Fitted inside an SV104 19" wheel." That's Signature Wheels, SV104. (My winter wheels) - I run SV104 in 21s during the summer...wanted to make sure I wouldn't run into issues when swapping wheels.

The template. The template measuring the correct 233 mm on the long side. Fitted inside an SV104 19" wheel. Worst case scenario - clears the wheel weights by about 1.5 mm.

All of this may be true, but in terms of rear cross traffic, Tesla has left out the required hardware. The rear mounted camera can't see what they would need to see to be effective, and the car doesn't have the radar sensors that are normally used to get rear cross traffic/pedestrian alerts...

The permanent magnet motor certainly made it easier, but they could have transitioned from the motors doing the braking to the actual mechanical brakes once speeds got below 5 mph. Not a big deal in retrospect, of course.

If that's your argument, sure. But it's a darn silly one you keep using to try to "win" this argument. If you can't get from your house to the local convenience store, no matter how close by it is, without using the brake pedal, you aren't "one pedal driving." One pedal driving is...

I suspect your reading comprehension is low, so I'll try to dumb it down for you. 1) Regen is not the same thing as one pedal driving. (You keep reverting back to talking about regen.) 2) OP claimed Tesla was a leader in one pedal driving. (I only pointed out a single example to show that...

Again, Tesla couldn't regen to 0 and then hold until mid/late 2019. BMW did true one pedal driving in 2013. As in, I could drive from home to work for 24 miles and never use the brake pedal once. I don't know when Chevy did it. Annoyed me to no end when I got my M3. If you think everyone...

I was talking about one pedal driving from the outset, and so was the OP who brought it up. It's possible (I didn't research) that the Chevy Bolt *also* beat Tesla like BMW did.

    Wiki Model S Delivery Update

I don't think that's true. If you gently press the accelerator until you get to 60mph, versus flooring it until you get to 60mph, one takes more energy than the other (ignoring anything that may be recaptured by coasting to a stop). This is the same principal used by hyper-milers on ICE cars...

How would you describe this feeling/sounding? To me, when the tires aren't really well heated and I floor it, I describe this as a light shudder, or a slight vibration. Do you agree? I don't have any other plaids to compare to mine (until next week when the white one comes in) so I'm just...

Exactly this. Anyone who is "upgrading" to a refresh from the 3/Y will notice that the audio is a "downgrade" from those cars in particular. They are exceptional, the S is merely "good."

I think you can't go wrong with either. I'm running with triple tinted black myself. There are so many different black parts on the car, all in varying gloss/matte finishes that any of the dark colors are going to look great, IMO.

That's somewhat meaningful, I think? It would seem that mean that they don't have that "not for use in under 45 degrees" warning associated with them? Probably suck in the slushy stuff, anyway, but at least if you had another vehicle you could keep them on year round?

I'm just starting to get used to the turn signals. Trying very hard not to look down each time I need to engage them to reinforce this training. The hard part so far is learning how to engage a "quick" signal (which should be 3, not 1, but never mind for now) versus a long (don't turn off...
