The clearer reference was for identifying them as matrix over the reflectors, thats the easiest way. Besides the ability tocontrol where the light goes I am not aware of what the lights are made of or other special functions

The glass is much clearer. and if you are still in doubt you can do the light show. The light show with Matrix lights will spell out TESLA and the non-matrix will not.

That 4680 dissassembly pretty much explained that extra weight was coming from the 4680 housing . They expect the thickness to reduce eventually but as of now they couldn't bend that stainless around the battery by hand even after it was straightened . Still odd silance from Munroe...

They did say the 4 motor 500 mile version would be first but if their batteries aren't ready they will need to put something out with less range and less efficiency and it may be easier to push out the 1 or 2 motor varients until the batteries are ready.

I don't think it will slip but what they make first may change. So instead of the 500 mile , 4 motor 4 wheel stearing version you may only see 250 mile single motor version.

That cover is destroyed , they would need to replace the foam and have a new top to the cover that can be tack welded between the batteries back to the origional pack, there is just no way that will be done.
