For those that have gotten the glass replaced... have you ever had the crack happen again? I'm worried it is just a commonality with the glass Tesla uses and that it could possibly re-appear after using the defroster again.

Unfortunately their process is that they have to confirm if it is a stress or impact crack. Once they confirm that it is a stress crack, then will order the glass. Most likely they won't have the glass in stock but you can call and check beforehand to see if they can take it in same day!

UPDATE: Just took my car to the local SC and they confirmed that my crack was a stress crack in less than 5 minutes. Told me that they'd order the glass and contact me when they get it in stock. I'll then schedule an appointment to bring the car in and they'll give me a loaner for the day that...

Do they offer a loaner car in the meantime?

Hey guys, I've heard that if you are leaving for a trip, that it is better to leave your car plugged in even if it is at 90-100% charge. Is this true? I am leaving on a trip for 3 days this weekend and am curious as to what to do with my new Model 3. Thanks in advance!

Anyone familiar with the process to get our real license plates? I forgot to ask the delivery guy. Do they mail it to us eventually or do they ship to the nearest service center and give us a call when it arrives?

Time slot was 12-2PM... Tesla guy called me right before he was leaving the SC I believe and got to my house around 1PM. Said that the company schedules their Ubers ahead of time so I had about 15-20 minutes with him before the car arrived. We have 72 hours to spot anything wrong with the car...

My DA told me that the "Texas team" will reach out if my car arrives sooner. Not exactly sure what that means. Wow I'm surprised you took delivery with those issues. What is your plan to fix them going forward?

This is the sole reason why I think once cars are off production line then they ship right away to the nearest service center. If they want to meet EOY deadlines, no way they hold the car in California until they receive payment.

Did they email you today? I had my initial contact with my DA yesterday and she did not say that. My credit union UFCU just needs to process everything on their side and they should have payment sent over to Tesla by Monday hopefully. Don't think that should take too long but we'll see.

Just received the first call from my DA! She sent me over my final MVPA and I now have a tentative delivery date of 12/26. Depending on how fast my credit union gets the payment over to Tesla, my delivery date could be sooner.

I don't think they can afford to wait until payment is fully received if they want to meet the EOY deadlines. I think they send their cars out of the factory as fast as possible to the closest SC of the order and that is when they get the ball rolling.

So just called into Tesla... guy said that their system had scheduled nearly everyone's order by mistake. So if you don't see one in your account, someone went in and corrected it. Regardless, they are still expecting EOY delivery and everything should move pretty quickly once you get a VIN...

Seems like the white interior caused for some delay. I ordered on 11/19 but with Black on Black configuration and am getting delivery on 12/21.

Just got my text for 12/21 between 10AM - 12PM. No email from a DA yet or option to pay via ACH.

UPDATE! Looks like some people got a more accurate text tonight. Got mine about 45 minutes ago... "Update on your delivery timing: We expect your Model 3 to be ready between 12/16-12/22. A Tesla rep will reach out when it is time to schedule your appointment." Excited!
