Is the web browser something you utilize a lot? I'm genuinely curious, I've pulled that thing up maybe twice, but that's it.Web browser is now 18% slower. I held off upgrading for 4 months, and now I regret upgrading, sorry DOWNGRADING again. Can't wait to see what else is ****ed up tomorrow.

18% slower? How could you possibly determine that? And why would you bother?Web browser is now 18% slower. I held off upgrading for 4 months, and now I regret upgrading, sorry DOWNGRADING again. Can't wait to see what else is ****ed up tomorrow.
A week after the silky smooth, fleet wide rollout! But nothing for us AP2.0 owners yet...
Teslas communication is just a joke!
They should give us realistic deadlines and keep us informed! That's the least they should do for people who spent a fortune for their cars...
Sunspider.
There was never any intention to speed up the browser in this update. Elon said that was delayed due to complexities of the kernel and the browser being more difficult then expected. My guess is that the issues with the browser are making it secure and limiting what it can do, like not being able to watch movies.
I was on 17.17.4. SC did some warranty work on the car. Apparently that triggered an overnight update through my home wifi.Don,
What version did you have before? How did you get 17.24.28 on your AP2 car?
Yeah, it's the last weekend in June ("next month") and "silky smooth" seems to be only rolled out to a small handful of AP2 autos, perhaps those that are brand new or have had service. Radio silence from Tesla. It does seem strange that most of the updates have gone to AP1 cars, and the split between the two on ev-fw is almost 50-50.

This could be the wider rollout of silky-smooth perhaps. I saw someone on reddit posted they had it. But now I can't find that post.
