Anyone Else Worried About Not Getting Delivery in December?

WOW!!! So many people are being promised deliveries right around Christmas that those kinds of comments are becoming worrisome for me. My MX is still in queue and originally was scheduled for mid-November. I, too, have now been told it will arrive either just before or right after Christmas. Based upon all of these holiday promises, all of the cars manufactured must all be arriving in the same week. I can only imagine how busy the delivery centers will be and just how much attention we will get once the vehicles actually do arrive. My center is Costa Mesa and it has been identified as the second busiest delivery center next to Fremont. The last time I was in there was a normal Saturday in early September and it looked like Macys during holiday shopping. I can only imagine what it will look like the last week of this month. That is, if it actually DOES arrive.

I'm one of the other Florida orders. I confirmed the day before you and just noticed a few minutes ago on the website they have changed mine to In Production. Back when I had confirmed my DS said it would probably arrive around the 26th of December. I'm also really hoping for the tax credit this year, so I'm very relieved to see them getting started.

Good suggestion from S85D on doing the paperwork ahead of time. I will definitely try that if delivery is going to be slow.

Looks like our cars will be taking a road trip together. My went into production around the same time as well. I am super excited and glad that it went into production ahead of schedule. Local Tesla tells me around Dec 20th delivery hope it is earlier :)

FWIW, when I ordered and confirmed on 11/20, I asked about delivery by 12/23 as I am out of the country for two weeks after that. My OA said he was 99% confident that it would be done. As My Tesla still shows in production queue with Dec-early Jan, with each passing day, I'm feeling less optimistic.

Forgot to mention the other reason for not being optimistic. The last Tesla quarterly earnings report had thousands of cars which were in transit that didn't make the quarter end. I'm thinking it'll be the same this quarter.

You will probably have your car by year end but maybe not by 12/23. I confirmed 11/16 and my DS told me she couldn't tell me if it'd be before or after 12/25. I'm in Cali so there's no shipping involved.

My guess is that both our cars go into production in the next week.

I think all three of our cars are going to be on the same trip. Either of you picking up at Dania Beach?

Hey all, I'm from the WPB area, confirmed my X on 11/18! :)

So initially I was worried that they wouldn't get to my order in time, but now I am not worried anymore. Apparently my car was done yesterday and is about to leave the factory in route to Florida. My Delivery specialist tells me that it should here on the 13th of December and I can pick it up a few days after it. I am so freaking excited. I haven't looked forward to something like this in forever.
Here is the current status on My Tesla page:
