I wonder why they don’t have an option with model 3 to have a single motor but the larger battery from the AWD?

Seems like demo Highland Model 3s will be in the country next week, because there's a pre-release viewing for TOCA members in a few states.

I wonder how TOCA organised that and if the cars will be available at Tesla delivery centres for viewing also?

For Canberra the only option to book was at the showroom, not the delivery centre.

I'm guessing they'll be on view to the public from the weekend though.

Ohh we don’t have a showroom, just a delivery centre. Adelaide being the small country town that it is haha.
Ohh I do remember seeing the Tesla showroom in Canberra a few years ago, well I think it was Canberra I’m all over the place, it was near a huge supermarket that heaps of really cool Italian type foods in it?

Not sure if it’s still the same but it also used to be the only place that porn/prostitution and fireworks were legal? I lived in Canberra for a while as a kid and I remember being able to buy fireworks from the deli in McGreggor or the (Kippax?) shopping centre haha. Didn’t get a chance to check out the porn or prostitution though..

Used to do the same thing growing up, kids played in the morning then you would go and watch the old man play in the A's in the arvo.

I ordered probably a month before you, it sat there for a few weeks then I was informed that I could choose between updating my order to highland or cancel as the current model no longer available.
Secretly I’m happy it skipped over to the 2024 model, there is a lot to look forward too
Eventually when they stop sending ship loads to Europe (and Canada now i see from Shanghai!) we might get some RHD sent over. Manufacturing can’t be too far away if they have you down as Jan-Mar
