Hey, don't hate on the Chubby cars, Ormaus - I can fit a lot of *sugar* inside them!
Actually we currently have 2 SUVs. When I saw the MY at our local it just looked weird. It has the same lines as the M3 but thicker in the middle. Most SUVs have a very different overall shape that doesnt look like the manufacturer got lazy and stretched it (like adding a section to a SpaceX Starship/Booster). I personally think the size would fit our family perfectly for our 2nd car (after the M3) but we just got a CX-5 (and cancelled the Hybrid Kluger order) because they had 8 actually at the dealership ready to roll out the door.

So, boys, shall we *moooove on*? 😜 (gotta admit, I found the milk analogies entertaining!)
And long as no one waters it down *shudder*

Thanks for the info, Ormaus. Haven't been able to check out the MY yet, as the demos haven't arrived in Perth, but have put down a deposit just in case.

I have a CX8 at the moment, which is really just your CX5 with extra junk in the trunk! But I'm often carting around all sorts of bits and pieces for work, schoolbags, dogs etc. so figure the MY might be more practical.

Going on looks alone, I prefer the M3, but needs-must and all that

For me, it is feeling a bit like somebody walked past a room, yelled out "Hey, what's in here?", somebody else has gone "Dunno, open it and see!" ... they opened the door and went "Oh, well, lets see if these lost vehicles have a home waiting..."

One day.....

You guys really need to stop relying on "vibes" in debates.
Without intending to ruffle feathers...we are all waiting.
We *should* be able to be discuss, postulate, theorise, express our opinion without attracting unreasonable criticism.

I'll express my opinion here: there are few facts to rely on.
I enjoy this forum because others contribute their opinions, thoughts and actual past experiences which add to my knowledge bank.

Thanks to those I've learned from and those whose keep me sane while I wait.

Oh which ones?

Nothing special, just these cheap ones from Amazon:

I figure they'll be out of sight most of the time, and as long as they help protect the boot and frunk lining they'll have done their job.

My next purchase will probably be a Gen 3 wall connector for the garage. The retail therapy helps pass the time…
