Something happened today. First I couldn’t access my account page, then my design details went blank. I think my account is FINALLY being updated to white interior. Also received a responsive email from customer service saying that my questions can be answered by my owner advisor or delivery specialist. I have not been contacted yet by an OA or DS. By the way, what is the difference? Hoping my flight is finally cleared for takeoff!

Nope. They're having a system-wide outage right now.

Hang tight Tony! I'm a Model S owner and was a first day reservation holder of Model 3, and configured 6/27. We just got an email late last week saying our car should be making it to SLC sometime next week. AWD, Silver, Black Interior, Aero, EAP, FSD.
All the Same Hardware, location, dates, but not an owner and haven’t heard anything from Tesla. Maybe still some owner priority exists.

Regardless,

I live in Seattle. No need to look it up.

The tax is, indeed, 10.3% in Seattle and most (perhaps all) of the surrounding urban area. I live in unincorporated King County, though, so my local tax rate is different. You can check your exact address with the DOR here. In my case, the total tax rate is 8.9% (8.6% sales tax plus a 0.3% add-on for motor vehicle sales).

However, the tax rate is calculated based on the location where the sale takes place - that is, if the car is delivered in Seattle, then you pay the Seattle tax rate. My car will soon be delivered in Bellevue... so I'll pay the 10.3% rate that's applicable there instead of the 8.9% that's applicable for my home address.

If they deliver to your home, then you can pay the lower rate.
