Several hours after my MVPA was updated to the "real" one in my account I got an email specifically requesting I e-sign it, and was asked to do so prior to home delivery

In other news, I already got my MVPA and VIN after communication/ scheduling my delivery yesterday via phone. Nothing shows up on the Delivery Train site, but my delivery isn't scheduled until 9/28. At least I know my financing stuff will be all in order.

Yeah, that must have to do with home delivery. I assume that also applies to states that don't allow direct sales.

I know!!! Jilted girl friend? Jilted boy friend? There's a saying that went through my brain like a lightning bolt. Nobody will allow others to have nice things. Or it doesn't pay to have nice things...something to that effect. In 77 or so I went to a hockey game in Providence RI with my then girl friend (and her dad). We broke up and upon returning to my car, it had been broken into. Window smashed, radio stolen. One just can't have nice things. But, for all of us here..when in a parking lot, park really close to the manned gate.
Account updated with final MVPA. Assigned VIN on 9/18/2018. Taking delivery at Rocklin CA on this Saturday.

Hope you dont leave once you have your wheels. You got all kinds of great info for people that can understand it. (Unfortunately I cant consider myself one of them. I have a hard enough time finding forums I want to lurk in.)

My appointment still shows Sept 22 at Devon. Was offline today, will call Tesla Devon tomorrow (Thursday) to confirm schedule.

Good luck! Maybe you'll get lucky and not get a delay. As soon as I saw the 888 number popup on my phone I knew I was getting one.
Are you cash/Lightstream buyer? Seems like a tight window to get a loan approved without the VIN and having insurance prior to picking up the car. I'm scheduled 7 days from now (9/26) and I'm freaking out as I always have everything lined up and ready to go... I'm not a last minute kind of person and this process is killing me
No, cash payment. Still no MVPA or VIN as of this morning; going to wait until lunch time today (48 hrs before delivery) and try calling.
