Why? Prices change all the time.

People have been getting shafted like this by manufacturers and dealers for a hundred years. It’s just been way less transparent so nobody knew they were supposed to be pissed.
Guess you didn't get screwed over then lol, easy to say that when you're not the one shorted 5 figures on a car that is only a few weeks to a few months old.

I disagree. Savvy buyers have always been able to research what “invoice” is for their particular build and use it in negotiations with dealers as not to get shafted on MSRP. Invoice may go up and down between model years but doesn’t drop 20% overnight.

Tesla didn’t tank the economy. They’re just responding the only way they can.

I get you’re mad, just think a bit about who you’re mad at.
Tesla ultimately chose to change the price. Now the consumers are bearing the loss in value due to a whim change. They could have introduced an MYSR under the 55k and not screwed over the market, but they didn't. The blame is 100% on Tesla.

Yup, they should sit on endless inventory nobody is buying and go out of business to avoid hurting the feelings of recent buyers. 👍🏻
