By "losing" the Twitter CEO poll, Elon has made his future polls:
- Powerful / fair
- Difficult to dispute without risking Elon reneging on Twitter

We all know that bots were fewer than 5% before Elon expelled the majority...
Elon said we could call him Elon as long as we are able to spell our respective hometowns...I find it comical that so many sycophants on TMC call Musk, Elon, as if they actually believe they know him.

I don't read anything into the use of "Elon" . It's just a shorthand notation that saves typing. "Full self driving beta" got reduced to "FSD beta" and then to "FSD b" . People hate to type extra characters.Elon, Reeve, Musk, are all names unique enough to refer to him but I try to use his first name to avoid the respect that "Mr. Musk" might imply.
How many characters do you save by typing “Elon” instead of “Musk”?I don't read anything into the use of "Elon" . It's just a shorthand notation that saves typing. "Full self driving beta" got reduced to "FSD beta" and then to "FSD b" . People hate to type extra characters.
Technoking seems fun.I guess if all we have to argue about is what to call him that means he hasn't done anything stupid recently, so good sign!
My post wasn't about Musk's name, it was about the apologists who gush and fawn over him.Elon, Reeve, Musk, are all names unique enough to refer to him but I try to use his first name to avoid the respect that "Mr. Musk" might imply.
Who should we gush over if not the dude that is single handedly solving climate change. Actions, not words. My post wasn't about Musk's name, it was about the apologists who gush and fawn over him.
The great Greta, of course.Who should we gush over if not the dude that is single handedly solving climate change. Actions, not words.
That's a bit over the top. Battery technology improvements and dropping solar/wind costs are the driving factors. Without those Elon couldn't do much. Plus we are a long way off from "solving climate change".Who should we gush over if not the dude that is single handedly solving climate change.
Solar and wind require batteries. What percentage of batteries come from tech that hasn't come from autos. Auto batteries would barely exist without Mr Musk from Los Anglesles (or however the locals spell it). That's a bit over the top. Sure, if we started 40 years ago.Climate is a solved problem - just execution.
You can lead a fawner to water but can't stop them gushing.Who should we gush over if not the dude that is single handedly solving climate change. Actions, not words.
