Fix for Broken FSD Beta 10.3

Just received a software update of 2021.36.5.1 looks like they’re putting us back to 10.2 until they resolve this issue

I just noticed the roll back download. I wonder how this affects me given that I didn’t qualify for FSD 10.2 previously.

I have had the exact same problem. Model 3 SR+. Just received 10.3 last night. Took it out this morning around the neighborhood. FSD drive worked as expected and traveled to the local grocery store. I then put the car in park, then resumed a drive to a nearby destination. Kept getting error that "Autopilot Unavailable". Then collision warnings started blaring constantly with cars more than 200 feet in front of me. Suddenly a software update popped up stripping the car back to version 2021.36.5.1 and Safety Score has also been removed from the app. WTH is going on??? Did I get booted from the program after using it for 5 min??

We're staying on 36.5.2 for now. We did a test drive in Chill profile and it worked perfectly. We went into Park and tried another drive and it refused to engage. We drove home and will let it sleep again and then try another drive

NO, your Safety Score is ONLY preBeta enrollment. Once you get in the Beta program it is poof. Unless you are in Texas and have insurance.

I’m betting Tesla is pulling the new build from the fleet. Too many show stoppers. They’ll go fix the critical issues and then push a new build to us. Sucks to lose the new shiny thing less than 12 hours after getting it but it’s the right thing to do.

What a tease right? Get fsd only to be pulled all together. At least give us 10.2

You don't have a choice it will automatically download, Tesla is taking this very seriously. Anyone who didn't have 10.2 is going to be stripped from beta until it is resolved.

I had 10.2 and then installed 10.3 this morning. Now the car wants to install 2021.36.5.1. That doesn't sound like 10.2, which was 2021.32.25. So this 5.1 has NO beta? Why not go back 10.2???

What do you mean am I sure? I had 10.2 for the past two weeks. I have the update, and there’s no FSD. Is that enough proof for you?

my false FCW fix was clearing the AP cameras calibration and drive for a while to get the cameras to re-calibrate. FSD is working again and no more false forward collision warnings.

I clicked the update button without reading the version number Big sad. I tried 10.3 last night around various silly drives, and found no problems and plenty of improvements. Was happy to keep it. Sigh...

Let it sleep for 25 min or so and everything is working just fine. 5.1 started downloading. Hope it doesn’t auto install.

Just went for my first drive with 36.25.2. Worked great for 20 minutes, then i parked and tried another drive. System wont even let me turn on autopilot on city streets anymore. Got on highway, AP let me engage then threw a FCW on nothing and slammed on the brakes in the middle of the highway really hard. Wtf. Going to try this “fix”, thank you for posting

Exactly the same for me. I ended up leaving it for about a half hour. Tried it again and it was fine.

I’ve never had an update auto install - that’s probably a safety feature. I’m still on x.5.2 and FSD is working fine, even though my app shows the x.5.1 download had finished but I never said yes to install.
