I’ve had to release 3 different VINs from my account over the past week and a half due to them all being Intel. My pickup is set to Fort Lauderdale as well. My configuration is MYP/MSM/Black interior/No tow/No FSD.

Could I ask you what your configuration is and whether or not the vehicle you’re picking up tomorrow has AMD or Intel? I’m trying to decide when it’s time to release my account hold and want to wait until I see someone with the same configuration receive an AMD.

Got delivery on 2/24 VIN 375XXX. All the updates you would expect with that VIN. Went out of town so just now getting it back from shop and customizing to my liking. Fully wrapped in Xpel Stealth, Xpel Prime tint, ceramic coated over top. Still have not got the new software update with the colorizer to make my satin/matte. Not sure when that is supposed to be downloaded on the car.

Got delivery on 2/24 VIN 375XXX. All the updates you would expect with that VIN. Went out of town so just now getting it back from shop and customizing to my liking. Not sure when that is supposed to be downloaded on the car.

The shop painted them red. The black is a vinyl you can get on amazon that is over top of it. Since the vinyl dosent cover the whole badge, leaves that red outline. I liked it better than just flat out red.

Yes, dates have been jumping around more than usual the last two weeks it seems. My OD was mid-Sept, LR, w/tow & 20s. Was March for almost 4 months, then dropped to May last week, then jumped up to 3/25-31 today. It could push out again, but the fact that my new range is only a week long is encouraging. Now...how to ensure an AMD chip...anyone know if its VIN dependent, ie after a certain VIN they're all AMD?

Just got confirmation (to the extent you can trust Tesla text responses) that my car is at Eatonville pending local inspection. Perhaps I will actually get my car on the 11th. Woohoo

Pcmike, I wonder if something else is going on with your car? Minor defect repair or something?

I asked, they said no. They said if that were the case I would need to sign some damage waiver. They claim it hasn’t even reached Alabama yet.

So I spoke with a manager regarding my situation and he basically said in all transparency the issue is the train my car is on broke down and they’re at the mercy of the train operator to get the train fixed and back moving again. They’ve been told that would be happening sooner rather than later, but it’s been difficult and hasn’t moved yet. This explains away why people with cars produced after mine are getting delivered before me… as they were on a later train that never broke down.

Call me skeptical, but what can I say… I don’t have much recourse.

Body and paint were perfect. The interior has a couple of pillar covers that need to be popped in behind the rubber trim. Perfect in all other respects.

Looks great! That trim piece though.. how do they miss that? At least it’s an easy fix.

They moved my delivery up a day and I’m picking up tomorrow!

Yea thats a crazy miss on their part. Very noticeable but at least major things like panel gaps were good.

Nice!! Can you share where you got the work done? We will be looking for a reputable shop to do similar to our MYLR expected in August.

Probably explains why they wanted to move mine up. That’s crazy. 4 to 5 cars an hour or so.

They have a lot offsite where they are keeping the cars. When you show up somebody drives yours over the office lot. It is definitely packed in there.
