Am I missing something here because I don't see any stop lines at all. I see cross walk lines. I was pretty sure the stop lines were separate, wider, and only shown in the lanes that were your direction of travel.
Not really sure what this means in terms of progress -- why were the lines zaggy and unstable before and now are better? Is this a cosmetic change or are we thinking the system is detecting lines differently?Ya, I mean the crosswalk lines that act as stop lines for traffic lights lol
In 10.0.1 they were still zaggy and unstable

Maybe an improvement on diagonal intersections: Kim had one nice instance where it waited to see what a truck was going to do, and when it saw it was turning it made the turn.
Maybe it was going to jump out to check for visibility and then reverse? One bad moment on the third (iirc) left turn attempt where it apparently decided to abandon the slow creep for visibility and gun it which forced a quick brake from Chuck with oncoming traffic.
It does, but it's pretty dumb (basically it's the default nav). Tesla's nav still has no waypoints much less exclusion waypoints (which can be used to avoid repeating a loop). Elon has promised multiple times waypoints are coming (most recently did so), but we'll see if it'll arrive. If the car misses a turn can't it reroute on it's own
I haven’t watched too many 10.1 videos yet, but have you seen any proof of single stack or reversing in FSD beta or anything Elon claimed would be in 10.1?
The podcaster from Milwaukee. Downtown MW drive, very mediocre. Some confusing and difficult situations like the early one with the knocked down cones, but Also some mistakes and some long hesitations in situations that didnt look too hard. Overall not super impressed with 10.1.
This dude is kinda nuts. He lets the car sit for loooong time sometimes even with people waiting. The car stopped in five way intersection and he let the car sit for a few seconds. There was also an instance where a police officer was guiding traffic and was waving him through and he just sat there waiting for the car to do something. The officer was getting visibly upset. Crazy. At least there wasn’t anything that was visibly immediately dangerous, but still, come on. His excuse is that he put “new driver” stickers on his car, but that doesn’t excuse everything.
Nope. It looks like a small incremental improvement from 10.0.1 at best. Maybe a little better at handling diagonal intersections and unprotected lefts, but not enough examples to be sure.I haven’t watched too many 10.1 videos yet, but have you seen any proof of single stack or reversing in FSD beta or anything Elon claimed would be in 10.1?
Motherboard has learned that every FSD Beta tester signs a non-disclosure agreement in order to be a member of the Early Access Program (EAP), a community of Tesla aficionados the company selects. This NDA, the language of which Motherboard confirmed with multiple beta testers, specifically prohibits EAP members from speaking to the media or giving test rides to the media. It also says: "Do remember that there are a lot of people that want Tesla to fail; Don't let them mischaracterize your feedback and media posts." It also encourages EAP members to "share on social media responsibly and selectively...consider sharing fewer videos, and only the ones that you think are interesting or worthy of being shared."
Remember the does (or does not) Tesla instruct its FSD beta testers to not post negative videos?
He had in one of the videos where some other FSDBeta testers found a way to plug in to the board on the center display.@Chazman92 I have a technical question for you, how do you screen capture your car display? I assumed you did that with a camera, but when you interacted, I couldn't see your hands, I thought that was awesome!
I think DirtyTesla got it first ...@Chazman92 I have a technical question for you, how do you screen capture your car display? I assumed you did that with a camera, but when you interacted, I couldn't see your hands, I thought that was awesome!
Thanks, so nothing at all about not sharing negative videos, only to be selective in what to share and also not to let people take things out of context.Remember the does (or does not) Tesla instruct its FSD beta testers to not post negative videos?

Tesla NDA Warns ‘Self Driving’ Beta Testers ‘People Want Tesla to Fail’
Every so often, a clip of a Tesla running experimental beta driver assistance software goes viral. But who are the people behind the wheel? And why does it matter?www.vice.com
Not sure if it was posted within the last week or so, but here's the actual verbiage.
